For the first time I have heard of 'hindu' and 'muslim' bandishes. And if mughal rulers preferred muslim courtiers, we wouldnt have courtiers like todarmal or man singh.

I do agree... I would not have expected an artist of Lalith ji's stature to use such terms without reflection. One can of course understand the import of her statement; but it's also true that it could have been expressed better.
