In conversation with Walter Waygood - Documentary Photographer

Walter Waygood is a documentary photographer who now lives in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. It was a pleasure to record an interview with Walter about his exhibition titled “Miners Tribute”, but also his career, influences and style of photography. The interview comes in two parts. In part one Walter talks about his career. In part two he talks an about elements of the exhibition.

Well put together Martin, a fascinating subject and one I remember as a young boy very well, a tough time indeed. Great images from Walter, and some very interesting background from Walter on preserving life, seeing the everyday.
