I absolutely love Season X. Season X can be described with one word: Chaos Season X took place during a point in the story where everything was both coming together and falling apart at the same time. No one had any control over what was happening. We thought the Seven were our saviors and they were trying to help, but even they couldn't control it, and they had to take a huge risk and sacrifice the island to do so. But this was also the biggest story season we had ever gotten at this point. The gameplay showed this chaos with the crazy items and rift zones introduced in this season. Brutes were a new experimental vehicle that struck fear into many when they heard one. We had items from all of Chapter 1 returning as well as new ones like the Junk Rift that made you panic when it you heard the glass shatter at your feet. There were locations like Tilted Town, Zombified Retail Row, Taco Town Greasy Grove, and Moisty Palms that didn't always make sense but changed the way the game worked or how we had to play in those sections of the map. This season wasn't meant to be a competitive masterpiece. It was meant to embody chaos and give us a final farewell to Chapter 1 and the original Fortnite Battle Royale.

I like this guy... He brings my unpopular opinions on the channel. I absolutely enjoyed mechs in C2S8 and all the chaotic weapons in C2S7... I always wanted to play season X bcuz of mechs slipstreams and rift zones... I was so sad fortnite OG only brought the zero point bubble.

The amount of fear that came over me when I heard a mech coming will always be engrained into my soul also it was really funny the amount of times the team we were fighting had a temporary truce so we both defeat a mech when it came around because we knew if we didn’t defeat it we would both be gone. Over Season X was a good season with the exception of the mechs, Titled Town, Moisty Palms, and Gressy Grove, and some of underwhelming items in the loot pool

Season X is still one of my favorite seasons. The battlepass is still my favorite to this day, and the map was amazing. I honestly really liked taco time. I started playing in season 7, so it was cool getting to go to Greasy Grove for the first time. Also the tacos was really fun. Weekly map updates like season x is something I miss.

I HAVE UNIRONICALLY BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE RELEASE!!! Season X is tied with c1S7 as my favorite season, and starry suburbs is my favorite location (after all the c4s4 pois) and this probably has my favorite overall map and maybe lootpool as well. This was probably my most played chapter 1 season, and I even got the origin ultima knight with his quest style. That entire battle pass was so amazing, with Y0ND3R being my second favorite skin in all of fortnite. Season X will always hold such a special place in my heart, and Im so glad there's someone who loved it as much as me. Thank you for making this video

I Got killed by mechs twice, maybe that was because i was a nintendo switch player and just knew where to hide/keep out of player dense sections of the map. and it HURTS that i wasn't able to get ultima knight, that skin goes so hard. Overall, season X was definitely always a favourite by me, epic just kept rolling with the new items and content in ways that i yearn to see in todays game.

Season X is easily in my top 5. I had tons of fun with it, the rift zones were such a cool concept, and I didn't have any problems with brutes whatsoever. Hate me if you want, but I put it above Ch2 S4 AND Ch2 S4. Now, I'm no glazer, it had it's flaws, but I have such good memories from the season.

The mechs are what made the season hard to like. Everything else about the season? The weapons. Items, rift zones. It was all super super super fun and I really wish we had gotten a season x version of the map during fortnite og during the last week. I wanted to play in tilted town, or taco town, or the borderlands zone. They were all so unique.

I feel like Season X was actually a perfect finale for Chapter 1. A chaotic nightmare of POIs and lootpools as reality literally collapses. The map is completely uninhabitable and gameplay is almost unplayable at some times (in a fun way). Lore takes a cliffhanger before its complication in the next chapter. All to wrap it up with scaring the fanbase that the game is gone forever. It’s unique and I love it

As a player who started in Chapter 2, I wish I could have been there for the chaos of this season, I really hope Epic would make a season like this in the future, it sucked that in OG when we got to the final update we barely got anything from season X and I dislike how much of the community whining caused Epic to not do things like this again like the over the top evolving nap, or just fresh new spins on gameplay to the amount that it was in season X

Season X, in my opinion, was better than what everyone remembers it as. I thought the rift zones were fun, with different locations having unique twists, and the mechs weren't as overpowered as a lot of people say they were. Remember, it's a 2 player vehicle. 1 person shoots. The other moved. If those 2 people had great coordination, then it's overpowered, but in solos, in my opinion, it wasn't that bad. Plus, the story was so bizarre. This was the first time we ever heard about the seven. It was mysterious and chaotic at the same time, and i think it was a nice sendoff to chapter 1

This was the first season I not only quit but didn't finish the battle pass. That really says something. I gave it the best chance I could. Not as bad as this season... but it was REALLY bad! It was what got me into not playing fortnite. Chapter 2 season 3 was the next season that got me to stop playing... and the first time I didn't get the battle pass! After that I only played like 5 hours per season cause they all sucked. Then I played fortnite OG and it was... AMAZING. I played everyday for 2+ hours (On average). It was PEAK fortnite, better then chapter one. Then chapter 5 was mid despite the momentum of liking fortnite built from OG and chapter 5 season 2 I barely played. This season I probably played more then chapter 2 season 2 but only because my friends started playing (They weren't even aware of the new season btw. They started playing as they had free time that they didn't last season.).

I used to consider season x my least favorite season of all time, but my opinion on it has definitely gotten softer over time. I think 10.40, the last version of the season, and when the mechs were vaulted is a fantastic version of fortnite. I mostly played TR during the season, and the chaos was really fun in that mode the mechs really were the biggest issue with the season, everything else was a great sendoff to chapter 1.

Season X was shit because : -Mechs were not properly nerfed and were still broken by the end -Tilted Town was ass and really interrupted building and fighting especially in endgame -Greasy grove was genuinely ruined by the taco time -Retail was made a bad POI because of the zombies which were load and annoying -They nerfed Turbo Building which is Fortnite's WORST update which would of killed the game in 2 months -Moisty Palms was shit -Extended the season by a week -The map was cluttered and horrible -vaulted most of the mobility -Semi-auto sniper was ass Just because YOU enjoyed the season does NOT mean that this Season X was good and Season X is an objectively BAD season which deserves ALL the hate and slander, you can enjoy and love Season X but this doesn't mean it was good.

I'm gonna be honest. Season X is actually my most favorite season OF ALL TIME. All the stuff they added was great in my opinion. (Including the mechs, Greasy Grove and Moisty Palms. Fight me, haters of those three things.) Really, there's only a few things I didn't like from this season. 1: Removing the Soccer Stadium 2: Removing Tilted Town for Gotham City. 3: Making the Zapper Trap too weak. 4: Removing the Shadow Stones from being apart of the Glitched Consumables (They could've just fixed them up like they did in C2S8) Besides those negatives, Season X is a near perfect season for me, and I bet NOTHING can beat it.
