Hi Jim - I received my Woodsan and Shirley last week and absolutely love it. The shape, weight balance, blade geometry, sheaths are all so well thought out and wonderful to use. Thanks for the videos and inspiration that put me onto Origin knoves in the first place. God bless.

Thanks for the video. I’m in queue for the woodsman & scout at the end of October. Both look like outstanding tools & I’m ready to be part of the brotherhood.

First class review m8. I love all the projects you have carved with it also. A well thought out design for bushcraft & survival. Can’t wait to see what you will be doing next with it.

Hey! Solid video! I have a Woodsman ordered for myself! I of course am incredibly pumped about getting it. I wanted to ask what is the cordage called that you use for your pinky lanyard?
@bushcraftcostarica8083 ай бұрын
Thank you! The pinky lanyard is made out of Paracord (550 cord) with a dymond knot at the end. I found some in the states that was a different color than the standard OD green.

@@bushcraftcostarica808 Thank you for getting back to me. Alright awesome, I’ve got plenty of that haha. I guess it was the color scheme that through me off since that coloring isnt standard (as you know). I’ve still got several months before I’ll start to expect my knife but I’m picking things up that I’ll need. I’ve got my carry system down, lanyard material, and steel sand paper. I’ll make the bearing block later down the line 😆

I accidentally butt dialed Kevin on FaceTime the other day and we had a nice conversation. Unfortunately you, I, and a few others own exclusive "grail" knives that others won't be able to purchase soon because of changes in the UK laws. I was telling Kevin that the areas I used to be able to play around with dead limbs are closed off now. I've only been able to test mine out around the place with my monster hedge and firewood. I think I'm going to try the OnX OffRoad to see if I can locate some places to play when the fire ban is lifted in the rainy season. Take care Jim!

That's super frustrating, a fella needs a spot in the woods where he can practice skills and have a campfire every now and again!

@@bushcraftcostarica808 I totally agree! It’s not just bushcraft, frisbee golf, and archery have been shut out as well. People need to get outside.
