Hello there, I got a question: if you are controlling the volume of the first track, for example, and you decide to turn all the way up, you use the first knob on the left, second row OK? Then you wanna control the send B of the same track, so you have to use the same knob. Now, how this is possible to do it without messing with the knob? I mean, the knob is already on the right! It's obvious that the second you touch that knob the effect on the send B will be activated at its maximum. For this reason, you wanna reduce the amount of send B and put the knob, for example, on the left side. How about the track volume? Same problem! In conclusion: same knob for different functions: how can you manage it properly ? Thank you in advance

What you describe is the tricky thing with knobs on a midi controller. You can setup your DAW to change the way it works tough: on Ableton Live, you'll find a "Takeover mode" dialog box with 3 possible options under Link/MIDI in the Preferences. Endless encoders are much better at handling this.

I have a question that concerns a conflict between my launch control and launch control XL. The launch control flashes on/off seemingly conflicting with XL, is there a way to change the channel permanently to avoid this conflict ? maybe edit the midi remote script ?

Hi hi I'd like to use this with a live setup. I have a midi 5-pin merge box and I have an iPad with the software in the iPad. Can I use this unit to connect into my merge box and make this work? I know this unit comes with a usb and usb type B, is there a five pin adapter or a cord with the midi 5 pin connection I need? Thank you.

Thanks, do you know how to program the User templates? I'm trying to use the midi learn but it doesn't work (on ableton), do I actually need to have Launchontrol editor installed?

Go into User mode, in the top right hand corner of Ableton, there is a button called 'MIDI'. Click on it and everything should turn blue, then click on the thing you want to be able to control (e.g. send C) and then press the pad or move the knob you want to use for controlling that thing (e.g the first knob). Click on the 'MIDI' button again and everything should go back to normal and if you move that knob/press that pad, it will do the thing you set it to do.

Yeah. While it has a specific FL template , pad 3 or 5 , I don't remember or care, you can just hit " User " mode and control a fuckin' popcorn maker if you care to. I got one 2 weeks ago and it's killer. More control than I'll ever need.
