How am I JUST NOW discovering this brilliant device. I don't even use Ableton much these days but those User templates with ANY other DAW / plugin... changing templates on the fly... for synth plugins and Reaper track selection and such... ugh.... heaven. How am I just NOW disovering this? haha.

Hi! How the snap in the center works for the knobs? Does it bother when you don't need it? (I mean, does it interfiere with the movement when you want to go from 0 to 100 not -50 to 0 to 50)

No luck. II tried the "master fader"customization" many times but it doesn't work. Well, it's a late post. Lucky me if someone reads (and solves) my issue. Tksn anyway; otherwise it's such a good and useful tuto. Otherwise Novation did not make people's life easy, jus spreading bits of information all over the place. 2 pages for teaching peoples how to use abletona and LC XL. No kidding...

it sucks that you need to use the mouse to click on the plugins and it sucks that they didn't build a dedicated master volume fader... These are things they make these unit questionable

Hey, Mosart. Thank you for reaching out. That is a great question. The buttons in the Novation XL have to be assigned inside of Ableton to know which parameter/clip it is triggering. @@sweetwater thanks but i have watched this video and almost every other video made on the Novation Launch Control XL. It doesn't tell me how to launch clips. I currently DJ with my own custom APC40 template but i want to start DJing with this tool. Any advice on how to setup launch clips? The name of this controller is deceiving if you can't launch a clip. Thank you for taking the time. :)))
