Take a in-depth look at CEO and owner of Lowbrow Customs Tyler Malinky and his newest creation, a 1950 Dual Engine Triumph Land Speed Racer. Tyler worked with Dutch Engineering and Fiorucci Fabrications on this build and it was real a team effort. There was also help from a few other friends too, The Gasbox, Lc Fabrications and Kerry Sayre.
Tyler hit what would have been a record setting run of a 154 mph in 2021 on the Bonneville salt flats but ended up wrecking. In an instant all of that hard work, building this bike for over 2 years was ruined. Tyler came out unsaved with just some bruises but the bike looked thrashed. The bike had to be completely torn down and re-built from the ground up, replace every nut and bolt. In the end luckily there was minimum damage to the actual bike and with a few remade parts the bike came back together faster than ever and is ready for a new season of racing. In this video Tyler walks you through the bike and talks about the very complex design and engineering thoughts that went behind every nook and cranny. He also talks about how the wreck, what happened, and how he's going to fix it. We bet you are wondering how can two engines run together? Don't worry, Tyler shares some of his secrets on how it all works as well.
Not shown in this video is the new front end that was engineered to fit this bike and has already been installed. Tyler hopes to take home a new SCTA Land Speed World Record for his class later this year.
