I love the additional female vox! Al knew how to mix funk and new wave just per-fect! Feature vocals, Shay Jones. "I don't wanna be sad, you broke my heart, you made me cry today..."

The evolution of this band is so puzzling. From synthpop, through quality EBM, to.... what the heck??
@drblackout73 жыл бұрын
it's called metal and it's ok to evolve in whatever manner you feel like.

@@drblackout7 Granted. And it's ok to say I absolutely dislike their current sound while their earliest albums were great.
@drblackout73 жыл бұрын
@@lmarts yah well it's even better to say that all their albums are great because it gives you a deeper look into that "puzzling" evolution than just sitting on the outside scratching your head wishing they still catered to you.

I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes I wanted to tell her I needed to tell her Just like the wind, you blew away your happy lover's touch You bring the blues into my heart just like a rush I cannot bear the way my heart has helped to keep you close Of you, my babe, I cannot get enough You touch me baby I loved you to the lines of lies you told when I asked her name I knew the perfume in your hair just wasn't mine Did you ever think to notice me when you wasn't home? I noticed every time I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes Thought you noticed every time but you didn't notice a thing I'd have to cover up my calls when the telephone would ring I'm tired of you and the things you do and all the things you say No more babysitting for neurotic girls today I'm thinking that the pain I'm going through just to keep you, babe Is something that I should bear Did you ever stop to notice me when you had nothing? And I never cared? Just like the wind, you blew away your happy lover's touch You bring the blues into my life just like a rush I cannot bear the way my heart has helped to keep you close Of you, my babe, I cannot get enough You touch me baby, don't be mean to me! I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes I wanted to tell her but I stuck to my lies I wanted to tell her till I looked in her eyes I wanted to tell her I needed to tell her Embed MORE ON GENIUS

@@danielgriff2659 Ministry turned the "suck" up to 11 around the time that A. Jourgensen bought a Fairlight CMI IIX. Prior to that, Ministry made hokey but undeniably catchy teenybopper music. Jourgensen didn't have what it takes to keep that sort of thing going past his twenties.

@@jmdavison62 again, one album that 99% of Ministry fans NEVER bought and NEVER said was good. Twitch was NOT teenybopper music. Ministry went on to make the best of genre "In case you didnt feel like showing up" live album.
