Thanks for this excellent review … awesome product that I’ve been considering for my own YT sailing videos. Sound quality is very important to me, especially in a wet and windy environment. How would you rate the audio on the Insta 360 X4? I currently use a GoPro Hero 4 in a waterproof case from Sennheiser that incorporates a wind and waterproof microphone for really good sound. Thanks again … really enjoyed the adventure in Scotland with KK! 🚴‍♂️😄

I’ve just stumbled across your YT channel when looking at Insta360X4 stuff and am intrigued by your front fork setup (the squared off “C” shaped bits). Not come across them before. I’ve skimmed a few of your videos to see if you explain what they are but didn’t find anything. Can you put me out of my misery and let me know what they are please. Amazing bikepacking series in Scotland with KK, we've had the most authentic fun one could hope to enjoy; but then another one is in the making I see! You're just the master of fun. Superb piece of equipment you're showing us, I fear anyone's wallet will instantly lose some considerable weight after buying it.. but then, those features aren't for free. Consider some rest in between all of this work eh, and take care! 😁 😊👋

Idea for you or question. Could you position your camera above your bike computer or phone and switch focus in edit to zoom to your bike computer to show your location . Then zoom back to ordinary viewing

How big are the biggest files you got from the X4? i would like to run it with a powered selfiestick for up to 4 hours roadtrip with the gps data in 1 file instead of many 30min, like on my X3. Tnx.

WASTE OF MONEY. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO 4K!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA. I've bought it last week from a famous camera retailer. The camera doesn't activate after firmware update. And the technical support's response? Yes!!! They told me you stole the camera!!!! Total bullshit. Even after showing them the receipt, packaging, serial number, etc. WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER SEEN. IRRESPONSIBLE AND IRRATIONAL.
