2004 gentlemen ! This is the song that started it all for me ! Heard this song and got Soundtrack To Your Escape and everything that came out before Soundtrack To Your Escape and everything since and are one of my top 5 all-time bands.

Bro. Same. Is it one of the best In Flames albums? Well….. I guess it could be a yes and no? It’s certainly one of my favorites, but at the same time it’s also not one of the best. Soundtrack came out at the right time in my life where it was a big help to me. There’s almost no melodeath on this album, but it was ok to me. Both In Flames and Soilwork were trying to appeal to a big American audience. In Flames delivered Soundtrack, and Soilwork delivered Stabbing the Drama. Soilwork resonated better overall, but Soundtrack absolutely spoke to me. And Anders never really sounded better than this record. He sounds absolutely vicious. There’s times where it sounds like he’s gargling glass. I could talk about it all day. This is an incredible album. There are much better songs on this album.

It all started with 'Moonshield' for me. As most purists would say, TJR is their best work ever. If you compare the two songs, they're night and day basically. So it makes a lot of sense that their newer stuff get 'hate' from some old fans. I used to kinda hate everything that came after Clayman too, but in time their post-melodeath stuff have grown on me :)
