She is a brave, intelligent, funny woman. Admirable, in my octogenarian perspective.

Janey, we have all done things in the past that we don't like - but never tell about. You are a wonderful person and we all love you. Xx

Hi Janey ,just look after yourself. You need all the cuddles and understanding right now .You don't need to ridicule yourself. There will be time for that when you feel better and stronger .We all bloody say things and do things sometimes without truly thinking .Just look after you and your family 👪 ❤

Janey is one hell of a strong and funny lady. We all screw up sometimes, it's what we do when we realise we have screwed up. And we move on. If we don't move on, life will move on without us and leave us behind. Thank you for making me smile Janey, especially during lockdowns. Thank you for your integrity, for learning, for changing and growing. Keep smiling.

I was given and have read "nothing left unsaid" I loved it. Set in the 70s and the present day. I could totally relate to Senga and her daughter. The best one liner was when someone karaoke singing ability was likened to " the sound of throwing a seagull up a lum!" Priceless

Your humanity, and openness is to be given full respect. I haven't posted stuff but ive said stuff I'm ashamed of, and my toes curl. I can only apologise to myself and , like you say, keep changing. Keep sharing your recovery and struggle with us, it lifts me for one.❤

One of the few things to come out of the slightly useless BBC Sounds app. I never would've heard of her if not for the beeb. Janey's my favorite comedian. Just sad that we haven't had more of her insightful sharp brilliant humor. Now all we have are her KZbin clips and old podcasts and I'm going through all of them.

Sometimes humour is used just to break through the tedium or tension of having to humour people who stand in too much awe of certain topics, partly because of the language and style in which these topics are presented, ... in formal, archaic language and terms belonging to an educated elite, beyond the scope of most people to appreciate. In fact it may be even more necessary to humour ,,oneself,, away from the gravity of the sheer failing of one's own brain..or I.Q.,... which is not the fault of Thomas Aquinas or the erudite Bishop,... but which God would likely approve of one's doing. For instance if one is listening to a Bishop, who has advanced studies in philosophy and metaphysics giving a talk to an audience of Catholics on St. Thomas Aquinas contributions on the ,,matter,, of how God is to be understood, you may feel that the time has come to enclose yourself in a sensory deprivation tank. This may be disturbing if you deeply believe in the existence of God and his existential whereabouts. However, the more available alternative may be to make fun of Aquinas, a joke suggesting that perhaps he may have been a little autistic....but this may be seen more as an insult to autistic people than a compliment to their penetrating focus, intelligence and devotion to delineating their interest, in particularly, compelling topics such as religion. Could Aquinas have been a little autistic🤔and would that then, be an insult to those who are not,🤔, or who may have reached a separate autistic appreciation of the descriptors that explain the existential essence of ,,being,,.🤔 Well, only God would know and it might be wise to remember he might not appreciate one's sence of humour.
