Even if humans had FTL travel 10,000 times the speed of light, it would take us 250 years to reach Andromeda Galaxy. By comparison the fastest FTL travel in Star Trek is Warp 9.99 which is around 7900 times the speed of light. And Star Wars is much slower. Andromeda is outrageously far that even well-known sci-fi franchises take literal hundreds of years to get to it. And this video makes it seem like it's just around the corner.
