If I were to choose my hybrid genes it would be either the Box Jellyfish or the immortal jelly fish or both since multiple hybrids are a thing in this series, you’d literally be untouchable and as unkillable as you can biologically get cause the box jelly fish is the 2nd most toxic/poisonous creature on the planet with a neurotoxin that (in extreme cases) can kill humans in minutes from a small touch so scale that to human size and it’d be like near instant death for the roaches and both jellyfishes can regenerate their bodies to survive but the immortal jellyfish can take this a step further by manipulating its own age by reverting back to a younger stage of its life cycle to repair damage and gain lifespan back.

@@Denzel9911 well when you’re fighting an army of beyond humanly strong humanoid roaches who can also mutate I’d say being unkillable to them is the best option, sure it’d hurt like hell but every time they tear ya apart (if and when they get their hands on you) they get exposed to a poison that wreaks havoc on your nervous system and cells in general causing necrosis and you just regenerate back to normal.

@@incino542 right but even if you didn’t need to be surrounded by water for it to work you’d have to be able to hit said target and a good chunk of these roaches are faster than sound and those are the normal ones, they also usually attack in Army sized numbers as well.

Just realized that one of the members in the team that is waiting underground simply disappears from the show without any explanation. He had the power of echolocation like a killer whale if I'm not mistaken. He was there, hiding with the others while underground, but after Bao's attack he just... vanishes from the show to never be seen again. Doesn't make any sense at all. That's how you can clearly see that the team behind season 2's production didn't put any effort into it unless that happens in the manga too which I would like to know if so.

Lowkey tho, the entire arc with the non combatants at the radio tower was my favorite part of the show. It’s so suspenseful and Keiji gets to have the spotlight, fighting and beating two upper level Terramorphs and holding his own against someone with a high Mars ranking without even fighting back. It’s nerve wracking knowing the Chinese are trying to kill them, meanwhile an entire army of bugs outside are slowly about to break in and kill them all, regardless of nationality.
