Well done. As a teacher I can tell you, its not enough to tell the class, you have to show the class. And you did something so important that other teachers overlook: You emphasized Jesus.Its all about Him. And you put forth an explosive, convicting question: WHY ARE WE NOT CAPTIVATED BY CHRIST AND THE CROSS??? Woah. We ALL need to ponder that....... Its so important that the church get back to studying Scripture. No more studying tv preachers books. Sola Scriptura!! America has always been at her strongest when her people knew The Word.

Thank you Jesus! Thank you for this bible study. I have been going through some anxiety where I feel very afraid to the point of shaking. I was not someone that had trouble with anxiety before so this was unusual. I kept thinking the Lord is not a God that wants me to be in fear so why is this happening. It just seemed like there was an outer layer, something for sure wasn't write. I serve the Almighty God that created the Heavens and created me so whom shall I fear. The community I live in has been peaceful. There just didn't seem like there should be a reason that I was feeling so much fear. I thought maybe my family members. I prayed over it and began just having a personal talk like with my best friend with the Lord Jesus and He gave me my answer. He let me know I have fallen away from spending time with Him in the mornings like I had been and I really had been not putting Him first in my life. I went looking for some bible studies online I just had a feeling of needing to instead of just going to my own bible and after seeing this video I see why. It was exactly what I needed and my anxiety feeling has went away. I do believe the Lord was warning me of my selfishness of just doing what I wanted to do and leaving Him out until I felt I was ready to pray. After that attitude I'm thankful He even heard my prayer. I know it was some time ago that you did this bible study and with the amount of comments you get maybe you won't even get the chance to see this. I'm aware of that but wanted to write this anyway in case someone else is going through the same thing. I had actually clicked on some other bible studies, one the person meant well of course but was reading so quickly my brain today couldn't hear what was being read and it felt annoying. Another I knew just wasn't the one. The Lord led me to this exact one and I'm so happy He did. I thank the Lord for your gift of teaching. I'm actually well taught myself after being taught holiness for 25yrs but sometimes you just need to hear it from the right person in the right way.

Your question reminded me of Romans 7:22-25. "For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. WRETCHED man that I am! WHO will deliver me from this body of death? THANKS BE TO GOD through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. Romans 7:22-‬25 ESV I love the answer Paul gives "THANKS BE TO GOD".

I really love the amplified version of the Bible because it already does some of this for you making the reading very easy. From there I use the highlighting method, but I don’t have to analyze the words quite as much.
