I am bawling my eyes out..:’( Total disbelief…! Why? How? She was such a beautiful soul…My deepest condolences to you and the entire family. Please, can someone rationalize why Jenn was sent home to get her affairs together and wasn’t treated with Chemo? How is it that she passed away so quickly if it was in the neck? (Vs. Vital organs) Again, My deepest sympathies to the Friedman and Ackerman families… May God wrap his arms around you and give you strength…Rest in PEACE Jenn…Baruch Dayan amet.

Me too Annette. It is very very sad especially being so young. Her father did say that she had radiation and several trial chemos to treat the recurrence - but unfortunately, often in recurrence the patient is resistant to further chemo treatment. In addition, TNBC is the most difficult type to treat. I lost my own sister this year for the same reason. Like Jennifer, she fought hard to the end and never lost her positive outlook. Its a very cruel disease that I have also endured and just hope that in the next few years treatments will continue progress.
