I had a miscarriage at 7 months, so not the same thing..I never got to meet my baby. :( I know he or she is waiting in heaven for me, and thats what gives me faith and gets me through is knowing, my kiddo is looking over me, and I can't wait to meet them again! I know my grandparents are taking care of my baby in the meantime. I watched ur video again, after receiving ur heart, she was absolutely gorgeous, had the the beautiful eyes, and long gorgeous lashes, girls would kill for! This video is so well done. I cried the entire time. I watched the end of Alana's earthly journey on social media. I had just taken custody of my granddaughter near her same age also with NKH. The morning I woke and saw she had passed was devastating. My beautiful granddaughter has just turned two and every day is a blessing. Alana's parents have done so much for the NKH community in their heightening of awareness and through their foundation. Christmas blessings to you all 💕

Nicole Fecht Non-ketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH) is a rare, genetic, metabolic disorder caused by a defect in the enzyme system that breaks down the amino acid glycine, resulting in an accumulation of glycine in the body's tissues and fluids. There is a classical form of NKH and a variant form of NKH. The classical form is then further divided into severe disorder or an attenuated form (mild form). They setup a foundation in her name I believe. There is so much more information about it but it would be very lengthy to add here. Hope this helps some

That was beautiful. I know the true heart ache of a mother who has lost a child. It’s really a massive ache. My little one was only with us for 3 short hours of her beautiful life. It’s so hard to watch ur child die. I couldn’t imagine having to watch my little do this day after day. Anyways she was beautiful Momma that smile, wow. Our grief doesn’t get better. I was actually pregnant with two girls until the night I fell down our stairs. 1 lived 3 hours and the other was fine other than being really early and tiny. It was such a weird time for us. We were grieving but were also lucky. We got to spend our tine with her and that was god plan. To see this little ones face and her smiles. She was absolutely beautiful.
