@@MarkSmith-er7feNo way, Mark. I find it quite shocking, actually. Years ago, whilst visiting a local cemetery where some relatives were buried, I came across the grave of a girl in my year at school who died of a fatal asthma attack. She was just nine months older than me and seeing the gravestone brought it home to me with considerable force. The event itself happened 21 years earlier, in 1985. So my previous remark was made with this in mind!!!

Congratulations! Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no-one comes to God except through Me (John 14:6). Jesus wants you to to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Only by repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus to guide your life are you spiritually safe for all eternity. I encourage you to prayerfully read The Holy Bible. @@geemonster9179

During my time at senior school, a girl in my year died of a fatal asthma attack. It was 1985 and I was just fifteen - the girl in question was only nine months older than me. I found out because an old relative told me during the school holidays. Incidentally, I am asthmatic and now fifty one!

Terry Sue Pat was a local guy in Leyton, East London. I used to see him all the time, and the last time was at a festival in Walthamstow where the Brand New Heavies headlined. He was such a nice guy, so personable and was very knowledgeable about acting. Used to quote Shakespeare and all sorts of things. He is really missed.

In the dream, I knew she was the Grange Hill actress, but didn't mention it, and I remember she was really nice and very easy to talk to! I'm 55 next month and it reminds me of the class mates and teachers at my High School that have now gone. Some went way too young. Leon Wellings - died at 16 when he got a Motorbike that was too big for him to handle (he was a short guy) and he crashed it into a lamp post in Cradley Heath in the West Midlands. Also Wayne "Bodger" Garrett who used to sit next to me in class - a truly lovely guy who rode Speedway bikes for Cradley Heathens - a young legend who had an accident in a race where he spun off the bike like a helicopter and ended up with a massive brain bleed. In a coma for a while and died of Pneumonia and never woke. Others have gone but it makes you realise that you ain't done too bad to have gotten this far. Yes, in those days, we ALL went to a Grange Hill with its' ups and downs. My best mate and I used to run the Tuck Shop which was a private room with serving hatches that we used to open on breaks. We used to get the School hard knocks coming around trying to bully us into giving them Outerspacers and Mojos. Once they broke in and booted the serving hatch door in - dumb asses left a specific boot print on the door which led the teachers back to that kid! Oh, the days! Oh, and don't forget there was always one kid who was an arsonist who, in our case, set fire to the massive curtains that were on the stage in the assembly hall! Shame they managed to put the fire out!

Oh how I miss watching Grange Hill it was such a brilliant programme and they don't make them like that anymore which is a great shame. I never missed an episode once I got into watching it. I can remember Mr Bronson that's how old I am! I used to find myself worrying about certain characters and they had such brilliant and very talented actresses and actors. It was sad to see my all time favourite Grange Hill star Laura Sadler who was also in Holby City and a film called Intimate Relations with Julie Walters and Rupert Graves. Laura and I were basically pen pals, I would write to her and she would write back saying what she liked about the shows she was in. I used to watch her on Grange Hill and think she was going to be a big star she had that extra something about her. She was a wonderful actress, very kind and very funny too. I got invited to a special do they did for her after she died where there was lots of famous people there who knew her. It was in a theatre (there was a few from Grange Hill there) and they showed film footage of Laura and they shared stories about her. She was an awesome young lady gone far too young xxx
