I bought a Nikon Z6ii about 5 weeks ago (curious to see what I've been missing out on FF). Have been trialling it against my two X-T3's (with 16mm 1.4 and 50mm f2, 90mm and 23 f2). I am the opposite. I am even more convinced at just how fantastic Fuji really is. I'm 100% photo, and other than a few things, I much prefer my Fuji cameras and lenses. I shoot fast moving events and street and I've missed so many images with the Nikon AF. If I'm shooting action, people with darker light on their faces, very bright back-lighting, the Nikon just can't handle it. I tried all the settings and options on Nikon, but my Fuji's are much better. In two events, I missed so many images it was frustrating, but in my Fuji's I got all my keepers. The Nikon has gorgeous NEF files, at least 2-3 stops betters HDR and high ISO than my Fujis. Other than the benefits if I'm shooting in low light with high ISO (and also has great IBIS), I much prefer my Fujis in every other way. They feel better made, can assign more actions to certain buttons, lighter, but much better made, love the knobs on top - don't have to dive into menus. However, probably the two things that keep me cemented in Fuji are the unbeatable 16mm 1.4 lens, and the colour on my images and ease of PP. Just can't get that look from my Nikon files. I'll give it a bit longer, but every week that goes buy I'm getting more and more certain the Nikon has to go. philipsuttonphotography.com

Hi Jon - what would be helpful to new starts out there in the wedding photography business, is a video detailing how you managed to get into it. Did you second for anyone? - how did you get customers to book if you've never shot a wedding before or have a portfolio to show? - that kind of thing. Great stuff and keep up the good work sir.

Hey Jon, nice video. I’m shooting full frame as well as Fuji and the differences are not that noticeable. My canon R6 has a very slight advantage in low light compared with both My Xt4s, i could probably take the R6 up around 6400 iso but there is starting to show some noise. The Xt4 i regularly to 3200 iso and its fine but seriously they are very close when editing via Capture one. However the colors do come up nicer on the Fuji. The Shallower depth or field is possible on both systems and especially of u have the latest 33f1/4 and 56f1/2 both give excellent shallow depth the 33f1/4 with amazing AF having the newer linear motors. Im actually thinking of selling the Canon especially now the XH2 will be released with a 40megapixel BSI stacked sensor. Will be interesting times ahead.

I have Nikon D4s and the trinity, plus 200-400 f4 and cant let go... This system looks interesting though, will i notice a big change?

D4 is a great system! I would say keep the lenses and buy an adapter if possible if thinking of switching though.

I'm ditching Fuji soon too, though I was never really that impressed to start with. I'm staying with my Canon 5D for the foreseeable but might be tempted to try a Sony for low light. It's just the options I like (R5 for Canon and A7R for Sony) are so expensive.

I think the 5d is a solid camera or the R5/6 is ideal for you!

@@JonSparkman I still think the 5D is my favorite (digital) camera by a long way and will carry on using it till it gives up. I suspect after that I will go for an R5, but I'm going to try a Sony and see if I can tell what all the fuss is about.

Take care about your ISO. I suppose that you are looking on Sony. On high-end iso your pictures will be not useful. Test before you change completely

Why stop at full frame look when you can get gfx look. The Bokeh is just smooth

It still looks the same as full frame. Until Fuji creates f/2.8 GF zooms and f/1.4 or 1.2 primes for the GFX, the 0.8x crop factor doesn't do GFX much justice since nearly every lens is f/4 apart from a couple of primes. DPReview even did a video recently talking about it.
