Haven't watched in such a long time but Im back. Its so awesome to watch the how the story is told as well as being open and honest about the mistakes and showing how quickly they can be corrected. So glad it was live and not pre-recorded. I feel DJs these days want to be to perfect but being able to adjust to any situation makes you a truly versatile DJ

I'm a DJ ,too, and I really like you showing everyone what DJs do on the stage and how you fix mistakes . Most of the DJ use Mashups or pre - making songs in the show to ensure that they won't make any mistake while playing. They are idle while song is playing.

Hey Luke, not sure if you look at messages from old videos, but could you share what you use to record your mixes (sets). I have the sc5000. I want to be able to listen to my set but so far the only way I seen is using Audacity, which is not the best as it uses the computer mic. Does anybody know?

how do you obtain all the tracks you use to mix? I find it a bit challenging to constantly download new music, but understand that that's a DJ's job :) Do you use a pool?

djs like laidback Luke get tracks sent to the mailbox like everyday 10 tracks, all he has to do is listen to them and download whatever he likes, plus off course i believe he does his own search on internet (Soundcloud, etc) and his fellow djs share unofficial edits with him also

in all fairness - you listen to any of these guys when they just mess around and you realize your not that far off. When its a set synced to lights and a festival show they are going in pretty well rehearsed. Also - keep in mind that Luke is def not mixing in all songs he would normally do in a set. Some songs are crammed in for sake of playing all the songs he needs to. This is more like an open format wedding/party set. Now we realize how hard these guys have it - having to please so many diff people and stuff so many diff genres into a 2-3 hour set and make it sound cohesive. No easy feat.
