These InMyMind Series are such a good way for DJs to learn with real life practical on deck scenarios! Luke is always spreading the knowledge and furthering the art.

What you do is so important and appreciated in the community. Talking about so many topics and just open, honest conversations. Also breaking stigmas too. Thank you for everything and not gatekeeping. You truly want the best for the music and the community. This is why I am a Laidback Luke fan.

Nice! Damn the setup is really complicated. So many things to pay attention to! It's so much easier for you because you're so experienced.

seens like he is using his phone to dj just as you use a laptop with a software
@HarshKapadia2 жыл бұрын
@@aripjeetsidhu3819 yes, but it's like normal decks + the laptop/phone setup + the Neuralink addons. Not easy for a beginner.

it still blows my mind that you are touring the world mixing mostly of an iphone screen... having thos amazing denon players as a screenless as screenless controllers... truly amazing, inspirational and vissionary

@Laidback Luke, what happened to the old version of you lol. I'm talking about a decade ago like Heartbreaker remixes type house music. These new songs, styles is purely watered down. We miss the I guess old school house music? The bangers c'mon man you were my favorite.

Guess after watching this I have a few Qs: 1. Would you be willing to do another video on what your hot cues are and why/when you pick to set them and the color? 2. you do all your mixing in your IEMs, so no speakers? And the master levels is for the video audio? 3. I watched a short about mixing and the guy tends to start with taking the highs out so the hi hat in the new track shines through and not clashes. Do you find this useful or not necessarily needed? Lastly Luke...Dark Chanell, Hardwell collab?

Hey Luke ! Can you please share the tips that you gave to Avicii for improving his productions as well as mixes and also guide on how to apply those concepts .........I really want to improve my game ......... And personally really adore your work ethic as well as ur entire skillset as a person. That's why I thought of considering as my mentor and learn from you if don't mind ☺️

Very nice tracks :- ) This kind of setup seems little bit comfunsing for me, but works great. If I use setup like this i would like to have ipad for bigger screen than phone. But interesting :)

Is there a specific reason why’d you’d use a phone screen over the screens on the players? Is the software on the phone giving you additional functionality?

Denon needs to step forward with their Engine software, and be available for mobile devices. Smartphones are powerful enough to handle that kind of apps. Prepare your playlist, loops, and cue points on the go is the future. And unfortunately latops are no that portable than smartphones.

understand that sound innovation is necessary, but if you compare the track selection you used to include 10 years ago, your track list now consist of 70% pop music genre. Still a big fan, but to the Luke from 2014
@dj_paultuk70522 жыл бұрын
Its certainly interesting technology. I would think though it will not be long before Denon implement this on their players. Given SC5000's and onwards are software players, its just coding to get there. Unless there are patents to negotiate. Great to see you at work again boss 🙂

Paul again! Honestly I miss the fact how every DJ was into the CDJs by Pioneer and it's old nexus design but they are sort of not so great anymore given that other companies are thriving with better designs

Honestly, I think it's a waste of a powerhouse standalone media player turned into a glorified midi controller.
