From Gas Heating Engineer to World Traveler - My Story
A few years ago, I worked as a gas heating engineer, focusing on the technical side of things. Life was stable, but something was missing - the thrill of discovery and the desire to explore beyond the usual. After many years of working with heating systems, I realized I was burning with the passion to travel and explore the world. This realization led me to make a bold decision: to turn my passion into a profession by becoming a full-time travel vlogger.
The transition wasn’t easy - from the security of a steady job to the unpredictability of life on the road. But there’s something about adventure, something that sparks inspiration in the soul, that made the leap worth it. Through travel, I’ve been able to meet incredible people, discover amazing cultures, and learn about the diverse landscapes and traditions that shape our world. And now, I want to share those experiences with YOU!
Exploring Hisaronu, Oludeniz, and Fethiye
I began my journey right here in the heart of Turkey, exploring the beautiful regions of Hisaronu, Oludeniz, and Fethiye. These places are well-known for their breathtaking landscapes, vibrant nightlife, and rich history. Whether it's wandering the local markets, finding hidden gems in the mountains, or enjoying the nightlife at lively bars, there’s something magical about these regions that draws travelers from all over the globe.
My early vlogs capture the unique vibe of this part of Turkey. You’ll find me visiting local shops, chatting with the owners, sampling Turkish cuisine, and of course, soaking in the stunning views of the Mediterranean. It’s an area that holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to share more of its beauty with you.
Expanding Beyond Turkey - The World Awaits
While Turkey’s coast has been my home base, my passion for travel doesn’t stop here. As my channel grows, so does my ambition. My next goal is to expand my vlogging adventures worldwide, bringing you along as I visit new countries, cities, and cultures. I’m planning to travel to some of the most iconic destinations around the globe, including Thailand, Spain, France, Germany, Vietnam, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, and England, with plenty of surprises in between.
But it's not just about checking off countries from a list. For me, it’s about finding the hidden spots that most tourists miss. It’s about connecting with locals and understanding what life is truly like in different corners of the world. Whether I’m tasting street food in Vietnam, wandering the streets of Paris, or discovering the natural wonders of Thailand, my goal is to show you the authentic, unscripted side of travel.

Hi mate, met you outside Legends bar a few years back, recognised you as we’ve been watching your videos ever since we found someone who loves Hisaronu as much as we do. We’ve been going there now for 11 years, it’s our most favourite place in the world, nowhere else compares. With regards to your opinion on the Curry Palace, 100 percent agree with you, we’ve also tried Shine and the Taj in Marmaris but both are not a patch on the Curry Palace. Anyway, keep the videos coming, they get us through till we’re there again. Got 3 weeks there next year, can’t wait.❤

Great video again Ian keep up the good work! Really getting me through some though times at the moment watching these videos. Iv set the goal of a hol in ocean blue next year to get through these tough times. What's the actual temps like at the time of year?

@@graemedavidson3988 so we was there from March 26th in 2023 and I have to say whilst lots of places had opened it was very quite , there was still deals to be done and I enjoyed my trip , end of October is better choice for me as traders trying to shift last stock 🙏

@@ismailkucukdurgut3651 you can hire them out there no problem although try and do a deal as can be up to £15 a day so I’m told ? I’d contact your hotel before hand as they can sort it for you 🙏
