The only reason people even started comparing these two spots is because Texas already has every other fast food burger spot that’s in California. Just by looking at it, Whataburger seems very close to Burger King.

You have to get it made with two patties and not customized. Just the way they make it. That’s the way to really judge it. You need that extra layer of meat. I am a lifelong In-N-Out fan but I really like water burgers when they’re done as they’re supposed to be the default way. Otherwise, their other option are not that great.

Double, animal style, toasted buns, and you got gold. The only problem I have with In N Out verse some spots is no bacon, 1 type of cheese, just overall no customization beyond the 'hidden' menu. Still, what they do they do damn well, whether it's 1pm or 1am

25 minute wait at in-n-out? They must've been having a rough day because anytime I go to our close-to-campus one, it's constantly packed but the wait is still usually only ~8-12 minutes. The only time I've had slow service there was at night with no line so idk what happened there.

in n out basic burger is better than whataburger basic burger, but whataburger has other burgers that really slap, and their fries can outdo in n out fries any day

It honestly depends on the whataburger you go to. If the location is a miss, it’s gonna be a miss. But In and out is always consistent no matter what location I go to.

If I remember correctly the reason why In n out is most likely better is because everything really is fresh. Every in n out is strategically placed close to one of their farms so they have the freshest vegetables and meats. I personally dislike in n out fries(if you wanna know the taste just eat dirt) but the burgers are always hitting fr.
