In praise of Philip Quast

Aussie actor-singer Philip Quast (b. 1957) is currently wowing UK theatre audiences in 'Follies' at the National Theatre. I've been a fan for close to thirty years, and here's a sampling of images and recordings which might explain why. Always the best Javert, IMO. Apologies for the quality of 'Song on the Sand' but it is such a lovely song, I couldn't leave it out.

I’m in the UK and just been watching BBC’ s Classic Holby City on Drama UK. Philip Quast is a patient! Almost unrecognisable, it was from 2005, big big difference from Javier.
