Well, just because someone has intrusive thoughts, for example anger, lust...etc., it doesn't mean they desire such. You are referring to sins that one actually wills or entertains wilfully.

God gives each one of us the chance to offer our day, sufferings, joys, wors, masses, prayers and so on for the reparation/remission of our sins and that way we spend less time in purgatory

Makes sense….in order to gain a plenary indulgence one of the requirements is to be in a state of grace with NO ATTACHMENT to sin. I think he is referring to this attachment to sin that we must work to get rid of in our life.

Thank you for this revelation Alvaro. I had the same a few months ago. I told my priest about it but not very well. I think he misunderstood what i was saying. I was very upset about the whole thing when I approached him early in the morning before mass. He said that it wasn't true and made me feel a lot better by saying that I was a good person. This video brought back to mind though but now I understand it better thanks to you....thank you!

You’re right, but we can be still inclined to have spiritual imperfections in our souls in spite of our merits, which means that we cannot enter heaven (Rev 21:27) until it’s purged (with our cooperation)

I like your videos and your general topic of purgatory. But, I think this one is a stretch. For example, we cannot control which thoughts pop into our heads at any given time (say, thinking lustful thoughts). It's how you react to them. Instantly saying a quick prayer usually helps a lot. Second, I happen to pray every day that the Lord remove from my mind and heart the sins of pride, anger, ego and lust, and replace them all with humility. I trust in the Lord's justice that even if these deadly sins do not go out of me perfectly and completely, but I control acting on them (Mostly. Then, off to confession) then Jesus' perfect justice will come into play for me. If we honestly recognize the problem and strive to expel it from our lives, then that can be a life well-lived. If we do not strive for such betterment, then we're guilty. Thanks.

Marino said he heard Our lady’s voice saying “you are not your sins” which was his only consolation from complete despair, at that time. ( when he was shown his soul in the state of 30 years of mortal sin) When we have confessed our sins then our souls are pure. It is unconfessed mortal sin that warps our souls and distorts the image of Christ in us. In hell the sins of the person can be easily recognized by the deformation of the body. If we struggle with certain sins( and all of us do) but we continue to fight against them and hate them, and confess them, we will NOT be in their image. No! For God is good, merciful and full of compassion. I feel Alvero’s explanation on us being our sin, needs more clarification. We are separate entities from our sin.

I have been a great sinner and through the Mercy of Jesus I have been brought back to life. However, I will remain a sinner until I die but I am consecrating myself to Our Lady through St JPII Totus Tuus. With humility I have asked to become a saint, if it takes my death to do so although I am a long way from sainthood at the moment. Love the channel. The beach looks unreal, is there surf there?

1) murder of an innocent person 2) homosexuality 3)oppressing widows & orphans 4) withholding wages if those who have earned it. Numbers 27:1-7 presents a scenario where women were not allowed to own land. In fact, in Israel a woman was treated like the property of her father, and was then transferred to her husband via a bridal payment. So if a woman's husband died and he was wealthy, the Jewish leaders would "confiscate" her husband's property, including his wife (wives) & children, unless she had adult sons, and the property transfered to the oldest son , his "birthright. If the wife had no adult sons & was young and beautiful, she'd be sold to the highest bidder to become his wife. If she was old or ugly, she'd be turned out into the street and the only way to survive was prostitution. The children , depending on age and sex would be sold as slaves, or taken as wives against their will. So all of that was oppression, which is a sin against God. In modern times, a widow can own property, but it may be mortgaged and she can't afford the payments, or even afford the rent her husband was paying. And may end up living out on the streets with CPS kidnapping her children. This is also oppression.

Sin made the demons ugly, who had once been beautiful. The possessed may also take upon a grotesque appearance during exorcisms. Any deformed human with the worst genetic diseases (not their fault, but fault of a sinful world) also take upon a grotesque appearance. In the spiritual world, any soul who rejected God inflicts upon himself or herself a grotesque appearance as they are apart from God's goodness. NO ONE looks beautiful when they're extremely ill - not even the most beautiful beauty pageant queen.

This is why I find the heretical rapture concept so disturbing; nothing imperfect can enter heaven. All these self-righteous Christians that think they will be “raptured” from their sinful existence right into heaven are truly mislead. If rapture was real Jesus would have just raptured himself instead of suffering crucifixion. Christ died forgive our sins. But once forgiven our souls are still stained from the sin and must be purified. Matthew 5:25-26

Where did Jesus teach to worship Mary, to pray to saints, anything about purgatory, apostolic succession, Peter is pope.
