God permitted me to see my mom in purgatory, she was surrounded by flames, I think she was seeking my prayers.

I just found a photo in my house that I had never seen before. It was dated October 1968 and it was a photo of a smiling family with Mom, Dad and 8 children. I had no idea who they are, and they don’t look anything at all like anyone I know. I was puzzled, and I flipped it to the back and saw an inscription and warm greeting to my Uncle, a priest from Ireland who had worked and ministered all over the world for over 60 years. In fact, when he died, it was noted that he was Ireland’s oldest Augustinian priest, and he died on the Feaat of the Immaculate Conception. He is dead for many years. He had a great devotion to Mary. My uncle visited us often, and would say Mass in our homes, but he would never leave correspondence or photos that he had received from parishioners in our home. Looking at the inscription, I immediately realized that there was no natural way that this photo could have been placed in that spot on my husband’s dresser. I immediately began to pray for the souls of the members of this family.

My mother would always tell me to offer up any pain and suffering for the poor souls in Purgatory. I say the Flame of Love Hail Mary to release a soul from Purgatory and also say a prayer for the souls every time I pass a cemetery.

My grandmother is a convert from a Muslim to Catholic, she was and my Irish grandfather were member of perpetual Eucharistic adorations for many many years. Their holy hours were from 2- 4 am, in the morning. One morning they offered their holy hours solely for the relief of the holy souls in purgatory, about 3 am, they saw so many beautiful sparks of light coming from nowhere, flying slowly entering the consecrated host in the monstrance. I have been wondering since, what were they ( those sparks of lights ) were they holy souls being released from purgatory ? My beloved grandfather passed away 7 years ago,and my grandma is still alive and spending the most of her times praying as she is now disable and in very bad health. 🙏

I get a memory of many different people who I knew in my lifetime, not necessarily friends or relatives, just maybe acquaintances and people I would greet on the street in Brooklyn, NY where I was raised. When this happens, I pray for their souls whether or not I know if they have died or not.

Hello Alvaro.I am learning so much from your videos.I too, love to pray for the Holy Souls in purgatory.I belong to Saint Basil the Great Parish in Eastpointe ,Michigan. We have a confraternity of Holy souls and we offer rosaries and holy hours for the holy souls. The members of the confraternity also attend all the masses for the recently deceased in the parish. We are raising money to have the roof of the church repaired and also plan to build a 24 hours Eucharistic adoration chapel built dedicated to the Holy Souls in purgatory. We are a poor parish and we are not getting any help from the Archdiocese. Our parishioners have pledged money but we have only come up with half the amount needed, do you have any suggestions on how we might be able to raise the money so we can get the Eucharistic adoration chapel built, that way prayers can be offered continuously for the Holy souls. I wanted to contact you thru email to keep this conversation more private but unfortunately, no email or contact info is provided so I had to post this here

Such gorgeous scenery! I was in Costa Rica for a Labor Day weekend, in 2003, I believe it was. On a lark, so to speak. Never been to gorgeous El Salvador. If the volcano exploded, it may have been made of rhyolite. I was reading about Yellowstone National Park, here in the US. It said that the yellow stone that the park is named for is rhyolite. And it said that rhyolite volcanoes explode, which created the Yellowstone caldera, and lake. So that may be what happened that caused the creation of that volcanic lake in El Salvador. Great videos, all! I'm infinitely more informed on Purgatory than before I came across your channel. Though I'm still wondering about why it's called "Uniquely Mary", and not "Uniquely Purgatory"! Keep up the great work!

To clarify: A volcanic lake is what you said it was. The crater left behind by the volcano is called a caldera. These can fill with water and form a volcanic lake. Some volcanic lakes can be acidic and toxic.

Well - think about this - it’s the same here on earth - haven’t you ever been to a mass - maybe when you were younger - and you simply didn’t care - it had no power on you - or at least very little - and a time now when you believed and the mass totally moved you - after we die - it’s not magic - if you were of little faith on earth - THAT follows you into purgatory - you’re able to have escaped Hell - that doesn’t mean that your soul will somehow now love the mass and be able to receive its grace especially not in the lower levels of purgatory

If souls were" not disposed" to the Mass during their life, it seems doubtful they would even make it to purgatory. Moreover, the church's teaching on obtaining indulgences (partial and plenary) for souls would be out the window.

Yes you are correct - indulgences aren’t able to help souls that in life had no faith/belief in indulgences or at least the effect on them is limited - hence the church teaching that we should convert all to the Catholic faith and we shouldn’t naively think that those of other faiths come to the afterlife the same as us - they are greatly deprived - and I want this to be known

"We should belong to them..." - I totally disagree. We belong to Christ alone, NOT to anyone else's let alone soul(s) in Purgatory. Souls that doesn't believe in the Mass and needs a sacrifice of the "Will" to be saved! plus the phrase "You belong to us"! - sounds oddly familiar? The closest entity that fits that criteria is the devil and his minions. We love to help the souls in Purgatory, in fact, it is our duty as a Christian to help them but the only thing we can do for them is pray for them, offer our penances FOR them (not TO them), and offer masses for them more specifically a requiem mass. One must be careful who he or she is talking with because the devil can easily disguises himself as an angel of light just to deceive his victims in order to achieve his goals (which is to drag your soul down to Hell). It’s absolutely not ridiculous. When you take an unbeliever now into mass, are they magically changed, maybe sometimes. But usually if you take someone into mass just because it’s a mass doesn’t mean that they’re converted it doesn’t mean that they’re healed. It doesn’t mean that they’re affected in anyway. In fact, they may come out of the mass worse than when they came in. We even see that with Catholics. so why wouldn’t it be the case that is in purgatory because of how they chose to live can’t be helped by the mass when they are in certain periods of purification. It’s not a logical at all. We see it all the time in life.
