I'll be 44 on Christmas day & I'm single 2 grown 2 pre teen children never married and the way the men is in today's world who knows if I'll ever be married! This will be my first time in all my life seeing a Christmas with no snow & i live in Minnesota! It feels weird this holiday season with no snow, family or Companion around. Turned 60 years old yesterday been a widow since 2016, nest now empty, I'm not lonely, I actually feel free keeping to myself. Ran into a couple of problems when meeting folks for example, an unhappy married women who had opposite sex attraction "tendencies" and husband accused me of chasing HER - I was stunned! I also met a wonderful woman at jury duty who invited me to volunteer at a book store. I mention both to say USE DISCERNMENT!!! And no matter what remember there are still good people out there, but watch yourself. Peace.

I want to encourage you to do everything that you mentioned …. your church, the gym, even the grocery store are great places to find friends, because friends & family are very important …. follow a dream unrealized, get new hobbies, take a single college course on something you have always wanted to do or know more about …. start visiting your local diner with a couple of friends who already know you …. volunteer at a daycare, the hospital near you, making your home yours, your own design & taste …. My Mama use to say, “Getting a life doesn’t necessarily mean a man” !! The library is also a great resource for book readings & classes also !!!! Happy holidays!! 🎉🎉🎉 What do you mean by calling people your karma babies? And yourself karma granny . I've never heard of that . Anyway , you seem like such a sweet person to be sitting around the house . ❤ Sometimes we get into a slump for whatever reason and we just isolate ourselves . This time of the year is the worst for a lot of people who have lost a loved one , etc . You mentioned doing a lot of things around the house . That's good , but dont get stuck in the same thing you have been doing , which is staying in the house ! Pick days where you will do different things outside of the house and stick to those days. Otherwise you will find so many things you MUST do around the house. Find things to do that you never even thought of doing outside of the house . Like maybe swimming 🏊 , volunteering at a soup kitchen , going on day trips with people your age , learning a new language with others . Those are just a few things that can be fun ! 😊 I have done all of those things , plus I am a skydiver. I don't know if you're that adventurous. 😮 lol I'm now learning the Chinese language and it is fun to me ! 😊 I'm also learning French from a lady I met from Haiti and I visit her church and they help me also ! I've taken up Spanish and sign language. There's a lot to do out there , you just have to put your foot down and do it . Take it from someone who had 2 nervous breakdowns years ago . I have slowed down some because of health issues. But I'm hanging in there!! 😊 I pray that you will get your feet wet and get out there in 2024 ! You know its ok to live again since your husband has passed. My Aunt is experiencing the samething as you. She was with my uncle doe 46yrs and he died 3yrs ago due to COVID-19. She feels so guilty and we have to force her to do things. I will tell you what I told her, its really ok to smile again and not feel guilty. Please live again because life doesn't stop. The hurt will always be their but i hope it lessons with time. You and her lived for your spouse and did things together always but its ok to find out what you like to do for yourself. 75 young and you look GREAT!!!!

We lost our Dad a year ago this month just before Christmas.💔He fought cancer with everything he had, but in the end was right with JESUS & GOD called him home.🙏💙 My parents were together & married for 54 years & were inseparable. They were always together, always. They truly enjoyed each other. My Mother is 71. She met my Dad at 16. It's been extremely hard on her. We love & miss my Dad so much.
