I like how link click portray female characters as strong. Whether its a mute girl like Li tainxi who lost everything she had or a woman like her mother who is domestically abused. Not to mention, Xu shan shan, that lady officer, Dodos mom and the lesbian noodle ladies. Each woman has difference and is portraited nicely. Although im still sad about Emma😢 You may say that Dodos mom was mentally ill but the fact that loosing her child caused her that is alone enough. Most of the women have a good educated background (owning a noddle chain, handling business, being and employe.)

i kinda disagree with the points you made for Cheng Xiaoshi not trusting her because she is a woman and the most important woman in his life. What i got from that scene at the hospital when CXS asked her to stay back was that he remembered how the enemy took control of her body and since shes very strong, the same thing happening again would be a disadvantage for them. He's not protecting her cuz he finds her week and delicate. its quite the opposite. he doesnt want her to have that experience again. In that moment CXS needed to remember that she is part of the team especially since she knows about their powers now and this isnt like before. Since she knows about these powers it wont be easy for them to take control of her. so i think its less about "shes delicate" and more about, no matter how strong she is i dont want her to suffer like that again. another thing is, for a long time LG and CXS only relied on each other since QL didnt know about their powers. so CXS could have easily slipped back into the routine of trusting only LG. except since LG was injured, his brain went straight to "i need to protect thme both" so i guess the situation just stressed him out to not think about how this situation is different cuz he can rely on another friend now.

It sounded like "he didn't trust her because she's the most important in this life" 😢 Sorry for the confusion. What I had in mind was something like "he thinks that women are to be protected only, much more if she is the most important woman... forgetting she can actually fight alongside him" But yes, I know it can be argued that CXS doesn't look down on QL's femininity, and I actually think so as well... he doesn't think like that intentionally at least. "Women are to be protected" just happened to be a common bias/prejudice towards women, even when there are no ill intentions. Well, that's the explanation I can think of why he didn't let her fight with him. "cuz he finds her week and delicate" = (reviews what I said) Ah, that's what came to my mind why he got so focused on protecting her from real fights. But then again, "weak and delicate" seems too much. I'll think about stuff like this more carefully next time. It may have become a habit. Isn't this part wherein "he remembered when the enemy took control of her body" more applicable to the scene when he chose to stay behind, rather than the part when he asked her to stay back? And if her body is in control, her strength has no effect since it will be Li Tianchen's strength which will take over, right? "he doesnt want her to have that experience again" "no matter how strong she is i dont want her to suffer like that again. = Agreed. I see these parts as CXS protecting QL in the emotional aspect. Which is another topic (planned for another video) so I avoided mentioning it in this video 👀 Thank you so much 🙂 This is very helpful ❤️

@@SapphirePyro I completely forgot about how it'll be LT strength instead of QL when TL takes control of her! I thank you for starting this discourse. Not enough people talk about this show so im glad even if in some places us viewers will have slightly different interpretations. ^^
