Cool ep and lovely 4wd old fellow, We have a 1HZ N/a 80 series with 855,578ks on her great motors and 4wds, I tow my loaded 5m tinny with our loaded 80 and its got all the power i need for a 60 year bloke, love them.

I don't know what the problem is but I reckon new hinges. It may be possible to tap out the old pins and see if they can be replaced though mate. Then there is grease . . . it quietens everything Thanks for the comment, good luck, Alan
