Such an amazing film. Katie soloing the V11 stand of Box Therapy with no pads after doing the sit sequence is insane. One of the most composed ascents I've ever seen

This made me cry twice. And call my mom. Thank you for composing such a beautiful piece of work and Katie for being so perseveringly herself. I can’t overstate enough how phenomenal this was and the power in the message here. Thank you.

i used to climb at the gym where Katie climbs, I remember her cheering me on in a dyno V7 move. I was too shy to approach her and felt like I was being acknowledge for something so small in comparison to her achievements, I was also on her team for a local comp. I feel enlightened to see her outlook on climbing and had I known her perspective then, maybe I would have tried to share a fist bumped with her. A kind, warm and diligent person, cheers to Katie Lamb!

More videos should be made of popular climbers in this style. Bravo Katie on your achievements. The world will always give adverse opinions..but that just means you are something special and enough people have taken notice. 👏Beautiful piece of work this film.

Out of all the performance, goal related climbing films this one really sticks out to me. The stories pace and the sincerity make it incredibly engaging. Really considered editing and top notch filming! It also really paints the picture of how down to earth Katie is. Bravo!

Man what a swell video! Katie deserves all the happiness and satisfaction from climbing that everyone else gets regardless of what kind of attention she gets. Very inspiring to see her humility about it all too, climbing, environmentalism, sewing and everything else and in between!

Truly. She is one of the most humble crushers around, but more than that, an amazing human. We're so proud to have her on our team!

I witnessed Katie climbing as a youngster…yes quiet and fierce. Also, a lovely set of parents who were often on the wall near her, also diligent and good natured. Her Mom was especially cheerful and kind while working to learn and improve every day, right in view of both of her children. Such admiration and congratulations to the family for Katie’s excellence.

What a magnificent film! We’ve been blessed to be friends with the Lambs for years and got to see Katie progress from a little kid in the gym to the world-class crusher she is now. This captures how she and all her family personify what’s wonderful about the climbing community - so brilliant, talented and focused and at the same time so warm, humble and fun.

i dont know how long it took to come up with the moves brekdown sequence on Spectre, between 7'15 to 8', but that's a real masterpiece! All together image motions, camera angles, soundtrack and dialogues perfectly resonnate with my own experience on some other swings. Watching the latter Spectre ascent reflects so well the description. This movie's quality perfectly serves Kathy's mastery in mixing hard commitment and pure climbing beauty. Thanks for the incredible inspiration! 🎉😊

As much as I feel bad for Katie having to go through the online scrutiny regarding the V16-15 fiasco, it seemed to have triggered a shift within climbing culture. Media and content now seems to emphasize and celebrate specific climbs and their experience much more, rather than the subjective grade achievement some people like to attach. And I think that is a good thing. Katie is the first woman to climb "Box Therapy" amongst many other incredible climbs. And no one can dispute that

Online tough people are ridiculously jealous. The economy people are the downfall of this magnificent sport. It takes focus, dedication, effort, drive, and just pure enjoyment of climbing for yourself. It's not about showmanship. It's about what feats you want for yourself. So, for people to talk down to others is a reflection of themselves. They need to just move on and worry about themselves. Great job Katie.

I'm perplexed that the climbing community would just simply downgrade a boulder simply because 6 people in 6 years of the existence of this problem have ascended it. Disrespectful. I do see problems get changed all the time but in no way should this lower the accomplishment.

Really wonderful film! But we are confused: what's with the cuts in the footage of Box Therapy starting at 13:27? And then we see the full send at the end. Looks like the same session, since she's wearing the same clothes. But different attempt. Is the earlier cut version meant to dramatize the way the response to her send, after the Raboutou kids downgraded it, seemed to delegitimize the achievement of being the first woman to climb V16? Or are we just missing something obvious??
