I love this stringed music, especially the way you play it. I play the guitar, and I have an autoharp (I don't play it as much as I should). Ooh nice, the Hackbrett! Here in Switzerland it's a traditional Folkinstrument in both of the Halfcantons of Appenzell. Plenty of beautiful Music is played on it! There's a young, very talented Hackbrettplayer by the Name of Nicolas Senn, who also demonstrates that the Hackbrett can be used very well in modern Music too, whilst still playing it the traditional way all the way trough! Some Years ago, the swiss Rapper Bligg (singing in swiss German only) included Yodeling, Alphorn and Hackbrett in his Music. Once it was a very common Instrument in all of Europe, and I guess in different Variations also beyond, with many different Names. I only know it as the Hackbrett, a traditional Appenzell Folkinstrument. Greetings from Switzerland :)
