Fortunately I really like the sound of rain on the tent or the rain fly over the hammock. Since it always seams to rain on me when camping there is a trick I do. I take a small (lightweight ) tarp with me. Sometimes before setting up camp I will put that tarp up but if I get camp set 1st then the tarp goes up. It gives me a nice dry place to sit , cook and relax in the rain.

I love Sweden, its a country I have visited many tmes in the last 20 years, mainly due to a friend who moved there, set up home and raised a family with a Swedish woman. The wilderness in Sweden is genuine, its a much more wild country than Scotland, where I live. The forest goes on forever and there are Bears and other superb wild animals that no longer exist in my own country. I urge all who view Erik's superb films, to holiday in Sweden. The summers are hot, the people are hospitable , the country is beautiful , the rivers run clear and cold and the Grayling and the Trout are unforgetable.

Erik, as a locked down person here in Victoria, Australia with a government imposed 25 km limit on travel from home, I cant go hiking in the mountains like I want to and havent been able to since March 23! I know theres many many worse off than me so I wont complain, but your movies just give me a moment to disappear into the peace and wilderness, thanks my friend for allowing me to hike from my ipad! One of your more stunning videos. I appreciated that you showed your travelling a little too, instead of only sitting drinking very strong coffee.
