This song gives me mixed feelings. Delighted because its so wonderfully done, angry because the writer, singer and producer are three of the most underrated people in recent memory. These are quite possibly some of the greatest verses ever written (This is like a quirky version of Faiz Sahab. Oppar se lagay romanvi gaana hai, thora kureedo tu mashrti na-insafiyon ki zalim akasi). Master Altaf is such a lost treasure. Ali sang it brilliantly well (Lovely blend of mischief, longing, and mithaas) and am sounding like a broken record now, but Saad is a master !!! Lutf teen baala

I don't think it's anything to be angry about. If we want good music to be appreciated we must promote it well. I see every other comment complaining about the lack of views or how underrated these guys are compared to those who've sung on more popular platforms but it's all about promotion. Pakistanis are not averse to these people. Pakistanis watch Coke Studio, Nescafe Basement, and Pepsi Battle of the Bands because they were thoroughly promoted on our television screens. Of course, they are big brands and can afford such promotion but I bet if Saad Sultan does even a quarter of that promotion on television, most of these songs would have triple the views. It's not the fault of people who don't know this platform and many singing on it exist. Great music remains underrated a lot of times but in this case, it's simple lack of promotion. It's much more of a healthy attitude to accept our inadequacies when it comes to promotion than to blame an audience that doesn't know about the existence of such a platform. That's my opinion at least.

​@@aamnahere6250 On average at'a show like CS and Battle of Bands spends around 15 million dollars on TV marketing alone each year. Not even counting production costs or digital spends. A quarter of that would be 4 Million dollars. Not exactly pocket change. If you go back a few years, the era when Music channels went bust, Pakistani music was pushed out of Public spaces, Radio and TV. KZbin in pakistan is only a few years old. In those years the public only heard mostly indian stuff so thats what their ears go tuned to. Even now KZbin Music in Trending is almost completely indian stuff. Shows like CS however bought their way into public's ears. Unpopular opinion, but CS is popular largely, not necessarily because its great (Though some songs have been quite good) but because its impossible to avoid and in those years it was all there was. The only pakistani stuff you got to hear around you. You couldnt escape it . Oh and not to mention that brands for years have had an issue with Ali's political music stuff, and have refused to feature him anywhere. So yeah, this is not as simple as lack of promotion on artist's part. A huge disservice has been done to talented artists and a lot of different entities are to blame.

This song is an ode to a wife who left her house after an argument with her husband. The simple yet graceful nine stanzas offer a glimpse of a home where the man has been left alone. The kitchen is overflowing with utensils, her slippers are still lying outside, as if she has stepped out for a moment. In typical Punajbi style, social commentary is interspersed with tongue in cheek descriptions of the man's grief for his departed partner. He cannot meet anyone because the city is dark due to load shedding. He compares her tears to Rawalpindi's infamous Naala Lai. He observes that Ravi doesn't have a drop of water in it, yet Gulshan Ravi is drowning. In the end, he expresses simple faith that things will turn out all right, asking her to come back because it's a beautiful evening.
