I found a neat little flooring hatchet, while back. It has a 3 or 4" wide blade and a flat pole. Covered in rust. After I washed it off and sanded it for a while, I found a crack! I think I'll fix it, no biggy. Then put it on a stick. I figure it will last another 100 years.

I had an acquaintance come too me drunk and homeless. I could have told him to piss off. I had 2 seconds to reconsider, I stepped in this man's face, and asked are you ready to commit to me. I asked for 10 years of his life. With no questions no complaints just hard work. He accepted, I rented him an apartment that day, bought him clothes that day, filled his refrigerator with food, then I put a large vase of water in his refrigerator on the front self. I said when you want to drink have water. Don't ever let that container go empty. I worked this man for 10 years with full intent of working him into the grave. No mercy, I have to answer to God for my behavior about this. Well this man paid for a house, owns a Harley Davidson, a car ,a truck, and had 50k in cash. I managed his money, time, home time, laundry time, everything. I punished this man, either he was going to be sober or dead. He chose sober, total victory to him. He now stays away from me, yet knows exactly where I am. If I need anything he is the first to be there to help. We laugh, cry, stair at one another, we talk without saying a word. I asked him straight up, you good, he says sober and drug free 25 years. I got him a job just at the 10 year mark with another company. Best employee I had ever had, but he now is doing awesome things on his own. I was his brother, boss, father, I looked after this man. Like a warden running a prison. We celebrated all victories. Today I know exactly where he is, he won't fall because he doesn't want me to see him in that state. We are alot older now and have awesome friends. It's worth helping your fellow humans. I'll accept what I have coming for helping him the way I did. Remember God may have sent these people too you. They help you as much as you help them.

Hello looking to buy a small GB felling axe. Wanted your opinion on my axe choice. Looking to drop a few smaller trees and shape smaller pieces such as spoons. This will be my first axe:] I am no lumberjack, however i did grow up splitting wood with a maul and chisel:] I am a carpenter by trade and thought this smaller axe would be a joy to use. Just a little worried that i will regret buying such a small axe when facing a larger tree.

You say people will save us not the government. What exactly do you think government is? Corporations? They are just people. No one is coming to save us, better save yourself. Life taught me that. Beat it and shoved it into me. I lived in a covenant house for a little while. In Fort Lauderdale on the beach is where covenant house is.
