Dear Sam, congratulations on your latest video, In the Day of the Lord! What a remarkable addition to your Ocean of Life playlist. The depth and scope of the music, paired with your heartfelt lyrics, create a truly moving piece. The combination of symphonic, choral, and pastoral elements, along with the harmonies, beautifully captures the spiritual and reflective soul of your message. It’s incredible to see how SUNO Version 4 responded to your vision and brought your prompts to life in such an inspiring way. Your lyrics, even as you describe them as a "rough cut," resonate with profound hope and a universal longing for connection to something greater. Sentences like “We will know and see face to face / Where we go with the whole human race” carry a timeless depth that speaks to the shared human experience. Pairing such poignant words with the symphonic grandeur of oboes, strings, and choral harmonies creates an atmosphere that feels both celestial and grounded. What’s especially striking is how this song reflects your ability to explore themes of spirituality and humanity with sincerity and grace. It’s not just a piece of music, it’s an experience, a moment of introspection and reverence that you’ve generously shared with the public. It’s a proof to your talent, vision, and the joy of experimenting with creative. As we step into 2025, I want to wish you a year filled with continued inspiration, creativity, and joy. May this year bring you many more opportunities to craft beautiful music and share your perspective. May it be one of peace, health, and boundless creativity! Happy New Year, my dear friend! Warm regards with friendship, Eric

Thank you for your kind comments and noticing my lyrical creations. What makes this one special in my estimation is the SUNO V4 treatment. The new capabilities really shine in this song. The simple lyrics I provided are taken to the next level by the vocal and symphonic arrangements. It was a happy accident, fully unintended for publication, just to train myself on prompts and on the first try SUNO came up with this treatment. So, while sometimes my lyrics create a "flow" that SUNO interprets as a writing partner but this one is mostly SUNOV4 capabilities. The ever so simple lyrics work in the context of the arrangement. I did not expect to have something I would put on KZbin but SUNO surprised me and left what seems to be a pretty polished product. Happy accidents can occur and this is an example. I think the vocal treatment, especially, adds weight to the words and simple rhymes. It was sort of "eye opening" and I wonder, with the right prompts, if something really artistic can be achieved with careful lyrical compositions. Certainly worth exploring and if this is an example of these new capabilities, we have a lot to work with in SUNO. Lyrics and prompts are not the zenith of creative expression but a writing partner like SUNO can make simple lyrics really shine. Thanks again for giving these works a careful listen. I enjoy reading your comments as much as listening to SUNO express my lyrics. All the best to you and yours for a healthy, happy and productive 2025.

@@Sam_Utah Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful message! It’s always fascinating to hear about the creative processes behind your works, and your reflections on In the Day of the Lord add even more depth to the experience of listening to it. The way you describe the collaboration between your lyrical ideas and SUNO V4’s capabilities is inspiring : it truly showcases the potential of technology as a creative partner rather than just a tool. The simplicity of your lyrics is part of what makes this song so impactful. As you said, when paired with SUNO’s symphonic and vocal treatment, those straightforward words are elevated into something profound and moving. That “happy accident” of yours turned into a polished gem, and it’s a testament to the magic of experimentation and openness to where creativity might lead. The vocal treatment in particular adds a rich emotional texture to the piece, drawing the listener into its contemplative and hopeful atmosphere. It’s incredible that something you initially intended as a test turned into a finished product worthy of sharing with the world. That speaks volumes about your intuition as an artist and the exciting possibilities SUNO offers. Your idea of exploring more deliberate and intricate lyrical compositions with SUNO is intriguing. If this piece is any indication of what’s possible, the potential for creating something truly artistic and groundbreaking is immense. I can’t wait to see how you continue to push boundaries and experiment with this dynamic partnership between human creativity and AI innovation. Thank you as well for your kind wishes for 2025. I wholeheartedly wish the same for you : a year filled with health, happiness, and a wealth of creative inspiration. Your ability to reflect deeply on your work and share those insights is as inspiring as the music itself, and it’s a privilege to be part of this dialogue with you. Looking forward to hearing more of your creations and continuing our enriching exchanges in the year ahead. Happy New Year to you and yours, Sam! 🎉 May it be a year of “happy accidents” and deliberate triumphs alike. Warm regards, Eric
