Over 60 trains a day used to come through Appalachia. Now you are lucky to see one. The white double looking building in the new welcome center for the town and houses the Lonesome Pine Model Railroad club.

Great video, I've not been up to Appy in a few years. How'd you all do over in Kentucky with the storms last Tuesday? It got nasty here, tornado had to have touched down right in my back yard as I've got trees some big ones ripped up by the roots and others just split and twisted into pieces. So if you want to get some Lee Co VA tornado footage come up Left Hand Poor Valley because a lil before the 2 mile mark you'll start seeing some bad damage from there to on out to Lee High School. Roads clear but yea it's nasty, not as bad as the damage I remember from my childhood tornado that hit Middlesboro KY in the 1980s but it's close.
