man watching you i wish o could turn back time and slap my younger me in the face... as a kid i did not want to learn to play any instruments... i dont know why i guess i thought it was lame or whatever... about a year ago my friend instroduced me to fl studio and music producing and i managed to make some pretty decent sounding songs i think and i can see that i have a little talent for this but i always keep telling myself how much better would i be today if i learned to play something as a kid... in fact i had a piano in my room that my sister used to use for like 8 years and i never even touched it :( if any kid reads this i hope you learn from my mistakes :) peace
@dandoss10 жыл бұрын
Thank you:) I stopped plaing guitar after three months. I like instruments like violin, cello, guitar, piano seems to interest me as wel. But i give up on something to quik and thus afraid to start with an instrument again. Plus that i dont know what to choose. But thank you for your post, i hope that i get it clear for myself one day.
@Palach30310 жыл бұрын
hey man appreciate your response :) i know what you mean, i also played the guitar a few years back, i taught myself to play songs like nothing else matters stairway to heaven and that sort of thing from tabs but i gave it up eventually as well... but you gotta understand that you dont become good at something just like that, you have to work for it and when you dont feel like practising, sometimes its good to have a little pause before going back at it, but sometimes you just gotta tell yourself ok man, i know i dont feel like it but im gonna do it anyway, even if what i do sounds like shit right now, i gotta make it sound great :) sometimes weeks go by without me laying hands on my instruments, but i eventually go back to it with fresh ideas and inspiration... few times i forced myself to practise and compose and sometimes, it was shit and i went to bed instead, but other times i created something that sounded great and i was proud of myself :) so if u really want something, dont be scared that it might take time to get there and just go up and up by tiny steps and dont be afraid to take a break from whatever that you want to become good at, as long as you keep coming back to it :)
@dandoss10 жыл бұрын
KnockCZ First of all, thank you for sharing this! I'm gonna pick it up again and stop wining about that it doesnt sound great after a few months, sounds logical but im too focussed on what i can perform after some time and i forget to enjoy what im doing, looking at the things that doesnt sound good and after a while i quit. I gotta stop that, i always look at those people that are playing for years and i compare myself with that and then realize i aint making much progress. Kinda stupid to think like that, i guess i need to learn how to enjoy the things i can, and stop thinking about what i cant. Thank you for you post! This just gave me that last push to get me started! Keep it up with making music and dont forget like i did to have fun in what you do! Greetz

KnockCZ same here man, i am also confused by which instrument i like most, sometimes i like playing guitar, sometimes piano sometimes flute etc... his video inspired me to play piano again :D, i dont have an actual piano, i play it on fl studio... and i made one small trance too on fl studio.. btw i m tired of practicing scales on guitar, hence shifted to piano..
