I woke up this morning at 5:30 wanting nothing more than to get out in my garden. All the plants are bursting out the ground. My focus this year is growing veggies and salad. I have tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, bell peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, strawberries, green beans, carrots, all kinds of herbs, and marigolds to keep the bugs away. Before our weather gets to stifling hot, I want to enjoy the beauty of the garden. I love yours too. Thanks for sharing.

It has been a while since I have watched your videos, Nikki. I am "binge" watching now! I notice some changes, particularly in the size of your rose bushes! I love your cut bouquets and the new colors of roses you added. How nice that Jorge straight away planted your roses without you asking. You AND the roses are thankful! I used to have 38 rose bushes, including several miniature rose bushes, and almost all year round had mixed rose bouquets gracing our table. Since I moved to a climate that is not conducive to healthy roses, yet very appealing to deer, I have not been successful at growing them. Peonies do well here, but they only bloom once (gloriously indeed) and then are gone. I get joy in seeing your bouquets. I love that you prioritize time with your mother and friends over mopping the floor! You are a wise woman, a Proverbs 31 woman! Blessings

Goodness where to start. I love this video. I cannot get over your yard. It is 40 today in Wheaton. We are just hoping it won’t freeze again. I feel like so many of your viewers. I am a little sad when I know your videos are coming to a close. I love the stool. Due to your inspiration, I romanticize my entire bedroom . Beautiful roses! For your dry area you might be interested in water crystals. They absorb water and help the roots stay moist when you put them in the bottom of the hole before planting.

Your roses are gorgeous! Your growing climate is so different from my own. I live by the Great Lakes in Ontario, Canada. Much cooler and more humid than Nevada! Early spring is one of my favourite times to garden. Early bulbs are starting to bloom and perennials are starting to poke above the ground. It really reminds me of 'The Secret Garden' by Frances Hodgson Burnett. If I may suggest, vinegar and water or rubbing alcohol make good substitutes for glass cleaner.

One thing that stood out in this video is your adaptability. We may have our standards HI certainly do and sometimes need to lighten up, but unless your floors were filthy, no one will notice. For me, that relates to my being an artist, I see the “mistakes” in my work. Others don’t , they see the overall painting. Our houses are like that. We “know” that we didn’t dust or wipe everything. But others are unaware. The point is sharing time with others. God doesn’t give us Brownie points for immaculate homes. If it bothers you, do the set aside task(s) another day. Homemaking is ongoing. Taking care of ourselves is important. I know that you enjoyed your evening and went to bed later on. You’re all ready for another blessed day.

I have and it worked out well except for the application part. I just picked up a little spray bottle to be able to apply it properly so I will try it again soon. I have ordered from SHEIN once but was disappointed in the quality so I returned the items. There wasn't much fabric but I could have also ordered the wrong items. That quiet space to think 🤔 and to just move about the house 🏡 in my own tempo. “Where’s this? Where’s that?” Then there’s the TV 📺 noise. I never had it on before. I’d play music 🎶 and even dance 💃. Not anymore…”Lord, grant me patience!” Now my refrigerator is broken and won’t be able to be repaired. I have to wait until October to receive the new one. It’s just a mess. So today I got out of the house 🏡 and went swimming 🏊‍♂️ and then errands. I even stopped for a coffee ☕️ just to sit and relax so I could hear my own thoughts.
