as of a couple days ago, iamchris4life is also now the world DDR champion (the first time North America is invited in and he takes the prize for the USofA). Wow, can't believe this video is more than 10 years old. I thought with his guitar hero videos that came out later he had moved on from DDR, but apparently from the world tournament guess not.

This score would be 54th in the world (on groovestats) if it was performed today. It was done in 2006 on a home setup using a chair as the bar 😂

It wouldn't be considered a AAA because he missed a note, but in ITG, it is a AAA, or triple star, if you will. 99.04 is a very good grade, something I can't get near on that song with a controller! You have earned my respect!

Your best bet is to work on songs with 16th note streams from the bottom up. Start with songs around 110-120 bpm. Once you can nail three of those in a row without any heavy breathing, move on to 130-140 and keep doing the same thing with 20 bpm increments up until you get around 200 bpm. It's a lengthy goal and it'll probably take around a month or longer, but if you play consistently around 2-3 times a week with this practice, it'll arise quite quickly. Approximately a month or two at most.

That is the Cobalt Flux, but it has been discontinued. It was a wooden base with pexi-glass panels, with metal inbetween for the sensors. Higher quality than the standard affairs.

Thanks for the reply, I've been doing something sort of like that but I am already at Vertex on Challenge xD So dead after one of the itg boss songs U_U I think I'll try taking on either energizer on challenge or pandemonium on hard (that one's tough) I've been playing every day and it's definitly helped, even if I've been stuck on some songs for a while. Can't wait to get into the higher level songs :D Thanks for the advice though, I'll try some of that for the challenge levels like by Smiley

I have an old CF, must've been owned by at least three people before me. It's working fine, the only thing bothersome are the screws which sometimes don't stay down if you kick them. I've heard Bluesharks are the best pads around if you can mod them well. If not, they're no good.

"just because you can play that doesn't mean you can run fast. " Yup, the correlation isn't absolute, though in many cases I'd say it did a HELL of a lot in terms of leg strength, which is good for kickboxing and the like... assuming you didn't do it after a rigorous hour of ITG/2.

His pad didn't have the arcade mod, so it's completely flat, and the timing on ITG PS2 is slightly larger to accomodate the PS2's lag. Pandemonium is a lot harder in the arcade.

hahaha no joker, that is not what he meant.. "it is the psmo of itg." not saying that it was psmo, it was just a really good analogy of the difficulty of this song. summary: psmo is hardest song on ddr. pandemonium is "arguably" the hardest song on itg. and that's it! yay!

if u got a decent ddr game at home(supernova, supernova 2, X) then u probably should buy it if ur a hardcore player since its pretty durable and lots of the hard songs will probably need that pad. but if u barely play at home or are just starting out as a newbie, then dont bother because there is a reason for the $100+ price tag

Right now I am stuck at passing Maxx Unlimited (Passed Max 300 finally U_U) but I need some help with stamina. I know a lot about the game. I meant in respect to how difficult the stuff a lot of players can pass now (One More Lovely, Holy Orders, Return of Salieri, Dash Hopes, etc.), Pandemonium doesn't seem that difficult.
