Silver M7 is my favorite Film camera to shoot daily. The best part for me is the hit rate as shutter speed is way more accurate compared to other Leica film cameras. I can salvage more photos in a roll with it.

For some reason the automatic long term exposure function does not work. If I try to shoot beyond 1 second the shutter does not remain open. Is this an expensive fix?

Might be the lubrication of the shutter - that won't be expensive! If its an electronic or shutter mechanism malfunction.. Then yes..

Hey! The M5 is a tank... It cool too, but its definitely its own thing. More like a beefy Canon 7s!
