@J B Well, from MY point of view it seems to me that they are using a rhythmic montage properly. In a musical many things happen simultaneously and I believe that the edition of these 8 minutes should be that dynamic, expressive and informative. Idk I really liked it, sorry if you didn't lol

@@lianasoares8052 so like you notice how like there’s stuff in the trailer that lines up with the music? Like when he steps on the sewer grate and it sounds like he’s scratching a record, or when he locks the gate it lines up with the beat of the music? That’s good editing. They cut the movie up so that the film shots at times lined up with the music. It’s very hard to do, but when it’s done right it can look amazing. 😊

In The Heights was on Broadway in 2008, long before Hamilton. It was nominated for 13 Tony Awards. It won for Best Musical. Tell us again how he's a one hit wonder.

The dude is one bad bounce away from an EGOT. 3 Tonys, 3 Grammys, an Emmy, and a nomination for an Oscar for one of the songs from “Moana.” Might have won if it wasn’t up against two songs from “La La Land.” The academy laps up movies about movies. Miranda also won a Pulitzer, received a MacArthur Genius Grant, Time100, Hollywood Walk of Fame, etc. But go on.
