Great stuff, and awesome advice! I totally agree about brands. I started skating in a pair of Bauers, and I swore by that brand, but when I switched to CCM, I found I could last a whole lot longer on the ice and not end up with sore feet.

Really depends on you. I like the tower bags but find there isn't much space for extra bits (i.e. puck bag, tripod, camera equipment etc). The Airbox is a great all round bag and by far my new favourite.

How often do you go through gloves? Cuz I find I get holes in the palmes and fingers on my top hand where my tape is. Any tips or brand recommendations for more durability? I have Bauer one.6 now, and it's my 2nd pair of gloves in just over a year.

bjshalli the ccm quicklite has a patch that prevents them from ripping but the true gloves would be a good option because they have removable palms, you can remove the palms with a zipper and buy new palms. Xcore9 has a more snug fit and a6.0 a wider foot

Hi Chris, I have noticed that you have done a review video on both the GRIT Airbox and the GRIT Flex. While I understand they are two completely different bags, do you have a preference? I like both because of the ventilation and organization, but in a cramped locker room I feel like the flex might be the better bag as it stands up. Just wondering what your input would be. Love GRIT bags! you are totally correct, if you are always in crowded locker rooms then Flex is the one to have. Otherwise, I still use the AIRBOX and love it.

Palms on the QRL are very thin (same for any top end gloves) so they won't last every long.
