Love the design on this one. I would want a boat like this. Didn’t always think so, but after seeing you working in them I’m liking them more and more. 👍not a lot of room I see🤭

Man I hate that hole! My 2016 came set up with water witches on both high and low level. The lower just went out this spring. I was a bit surprised that it failed with no moving parts.

Quick question. Curious as to why you mounted the rear low water sensor with the wires down against the floor vs. up where they would be dry most of the time? Is there only one orientation? Thanks - nice work in a very tight space..
@JustinLeeMarine2 жыл бұрын
There is only one way because of how the pump is mounted. The wires are ok in the water. It's the connections you need to try and keep out of the water. Good question. Thanks

You did a nice Job on that Jason-it was a rough spot to work too I’m sure.nothing like being young and lean to get in those real Shitty places.The boat was nicely cared for-I Love that and that’s the boat you want to buy when your looking for a used boat. Finding used boats is fairly simple-finding used boats that have been cared for like that-isn’t.

You are right on point 😁

Nice work in a very inaccessible spot. Do you ever come across gear that is truly inaccessible without taking apart major pieces of a boat?
@JustinLeeMarine2 жыл бұрын
It happens sometimes and usually we have to drill a hole and install a cover plate for access. Always something😄

And that’s why a 10 yo boat doesn’t look like it preventative maintenance goes a long way in a marine environment.

Those are the PCUs. Steering control units. Part of the joystick/autopilot setup.

Good video showing a Simple remove and replace. I would have to ask, if going through all that, why not change out the hoses at the same time. I guess it was not your call. Anyway as always great video and please keep them coming.

Are the water witches really that much more reliable?
@JustinLeeMarine2 жыл бұрын
I have seen them in 5-10 year old boats and they were still doing their job. I would use them if I need to replace my float in any boat. 😊
