I came here to find out how to deal with the problem of wanting to start a structured workout at a later time in the ride (e.g. "my house is several miles from the park I want to workout in"). That question was answered at 12:06 with the demonstration of rewinding/fast-forwarding through workouts. Looking forward to trying this out again tomorrow

I see you have Glucose as a field selected at the top of your screen. Curious how you managed to get that field? Was it a direct connect (BTE) to your glucose sensor or a 3rd party app? Thanks

When you turn on the Roam V2 it took me ages to find my routes ,when I press planned workouts there isn't a heading of Routes ,just workouts that I never use ,There is nothing to tell me that I have to press (... ) very frustrating.

Is there an option on these computers to switch to a mountain bike mode? Or are they specific to road cycling. I don’t see one on mine and I want to put it on my mountain bike. Used in for road the last couple years.

Hi, where/what is the INSTANT POWER setting for the current workout in Wahoo Elemnt Roam v2? I see CURRENT SPEED and it's just what I need - to be able to see the current speed for my workout. But there is no CURRENT POWER, or INSTANT POWER setting there, which one of the settings should correspond to Instant Power?

I was struggling with first start of wahoo, had no gps connection. There was no map and speed. But I did full factory reset on Wahoo and unpair whith phone app, then started everything all over again. Now it works. I did this restart while riding to pizzeria, may be this helped to wake up gps.

GPS need a few second to pop up depending on the location i was in mountains today its take almost two minutes to detect GPS

This is different from my V2 version--not sure if you are using V1, or if your phone is a different model. Another problem is that your thumb and heel of your hand cover up a third to half of the screen, so it is many times literally impossible to see what you are doing. This video reminds me of an expert guitarist who advertises for customers to teach them, but because he is proud of his knowledge, he wants the students to really have to work for the same knowledge, so he leaves out every third step. Please hold your phone with your left hand, and use the forefinger of your right hand, and we could see most of what you are presumably trying to teach us. Also, remember, the people you are trying to teach are beginners, while you have done all of these moves enough to have them by muscle memory--you should try to slow yourself down and not leave out steps. Just IMHO.

Speed sensor makes a significant difference for mountain biking. You’ll be cheated distance without it, especially on tight trail systems

I have Wahoo Elemnt Roam v1. I do not recommend!!! After 3 years the battery lasts up to 45 minutes and it is not exchangeable. I have contacted Wahoo and they offer 20% discount to buy new unit. Rather poor, spending 400$ and after 3 years you have to buy new one...

Clearly the Wahoo is no use to anybody that does not use or need a smart phone. Hammerhead Karoo has a significant advantage over Wahoo.

@@reneh8921 Also thinking of getting a roam V1 they are going very cheap at the moment (less than half of the V2) the only concern i have is that i don't want to get a V1 and in 2 years time get told that they are discontinuing support for the device, any thoughts

@@antonkruyshaar6664The biggest upgrade is to map storage which went from 4gb to 32gb. If you use maps, this is pretty significant.
