I used the soft and stable and made 2 matching covers for my mom's scan and cut and her other cutting machine. I loved sewing on the soft and stable and plan on making a cover for my sewing machine. Soft and stable sews like a dream. I was nervous at first but I quilted it with just lines to make diamond pattern and absolutely no issues and they are still holding up today and I made them over 5 years ago. No sagging and they are as firm as the day I made them. Great product. Thank you.

Are the seam allowances already included in the measurements or if you add them, how much to add? Thank you

I'd love to see this adapted as a serger cover!

Do you have a digital version of this pattern? I'm not interested in paying over $400 for shipping lol

Hi, What stitch length is recommended when sewing the quilting on the soft and stable? Also, how is it recommended to hold the cotton onto the soft and stable before I start my quilting? Thank you!

For quilting you should use a 3.0 length stitch. The cotton will cling to the soft and stable naturally but I put a pin in each corner to hold it in place.

Lucy Greenwald Hi, Thank you!, My cotton fabric wouldn’t cling to either side of the soft and stable. I then tried Sulky KK 2000 temporary spray adhesive and it wouldn’t stay attached with that, so I ended up placing wonder clips all around to hold the fabric on both sides, but it moved around a lot. The piece I quilted was 24 x 24. Any other ideas? The fabric was new Tula Pink and the Soft and Stable was just arrived also. Thank you!

Kristina Valle maybe if you put pins in it randomly and just be careful not to sew over them. You could try ironing the fabric to the soft and stable also. I haven’t had a problem like that. I usually only have to pin the outside edges.
