Out of context, Sam Neill’s scream seems kind of hilarious. But if you watch the whole movie you understand that this man has watched everything he has ever known be cast aside. The world doesn’t abide by the rules he thought they did and he’s trapped in a nightmare in which he has no control.

I just wish it had a higher budget. It's clearly a movie made on the cheap fringing on made for TV stuff. Not knocking the premise or performances. Edit: yeah $8,000,000 bringing in $9,000,000 at the box office. Putting in perspective a single episode of Game of Thrones in season 8 was $15mil each.

This is seriously probably my favorite scenes in Horror. This is an example of pure personal terror that has been presented using it's medium of cinematography so well, that it can't not unsettle it's viewer, even if it just makes them reconsider reality slightly.

It actually gives it a contemporary feel, it's something I never really thought about but I kinda like it. Boring story but went to the South Island in New Zealand on a long ass bus ride, it was raining and it just felt like this scene minus the dread and horror, so a pleasant bus ride looking at thousands of sheep.

Everything now is about the demons and being possessed. It was cool for a minute, but now everyone is doing it. Got old real quick. They need to go back to the weird psychological horror stuff like in the mouth of madness. Sinister was actually decent since it has a little bit of that psychological realm, but the conjuring, etc, nah, typical.
