IN THE PRAIRIE: [EAS Tornado Scenario]

I can't stop coming back to this scenario. The alert screens, the Twitter posts, the live coverage are expertly done and help give a firm grasp on what's going on. My favorite little detail is the damage assessments at the end. All of it helps establish this as not a crazy hypothetical scenario like many others out there, but as a situation that can and may happen any day now. The characters sound like they know what they're talking about very well, which allows someone with lesser knowledge of weather to get immersed easily. The tones and words the live voices use draw you in even more, especially in regards to tornado precautions. I do believe that your character Dane will save some real lives one day. Your custom tornado warning screens are also beautifully done. Storms have been a passion of mine all my life and I can't spot a thing wrong with anything said in the scenario. Everything about this scenario is done to perfection. Actually no, I do have one problem with it, and that is that I can't tell if it's the best tornado scenario out there or not. Feels blasphemous to not give EF6 that title but I come back to In The Prairie more than EF6. EF6 set the bar quite high many years ago, and I want to lean towards this reaching that bar. An outstanding job, one of the best scenarios out there. Keep up the good work. 10/10.

EF6 2 ideas 1.Kansas City (both KS and MO, with Arrowhead Stadium getting destroyed and the Alphabet Soup Loop becoming a Parking Lot of Doom) 2. Birmingham-Atlanta (On a Sunday in April, with both Talladega Superspeedway and Truist Park hosting sports events; scenario could also take place in October) 2A: Birmingham-Atlanta-Augusta ((same as above, but with the Masters to boot) 3. Lincoln-Omaha (during the College World Series)

Phenomenal work on this EAS! I live in a location that doesn't get tornadoes, so a lot of the discussion about tornado development (wind sheer, unstable skies) usually goes over my head and I tend to gloss over EAS Scenarios with tornadoes in them. However, since I liked 'Ashfall' so much, I decided to check this out and you exceeded my expectations! From the live storm spotter coverage to the online posts to the news station segments, the scenario kept me interested all the way through! Your scenarios bring a lot of humanity and personality to them, as opposed to endless alerts or text-based explanations. Having that human element makes the scenarios way more interesting and immersive, and you do that spectacularly well! Keep up the great work! :)

This scenario is solid. Definitely like the screens. Your best weather scenario yet. However, just a lil bit of advice for the TTS. I highly recommend using VoiceText Paul for alerts, as that is the actual the TTS for the NWS. This Paul voice just doesn’t sound very good imo. But hey, still a really good job brotha. Keep up the good work!

Im originally from Sioux Falls (havent lived there for about 5 years). I love how realistic this sounds. Especially with the first couple of tornados. I feel like ive heard that excat scenerio several times. Now the one related to Mitchell I haven't seen, of course, but it's something we genuinely feared a couple of times.

At 6:25 love the guy doing the announcements and reports. He reminds me of "Sarge" on Aliens. When asked for a report, he would tell them "We just got though stomping some alien ass, and my marines are mopping up, and by the way? Tell the Master Chief we left the Profit of Regret for him just in case he needed some practice , or a stuffed toy. Hell I don't care, just another Covenant Stooge for our bootheels". And while your at it? We need EVAC, we are done here!! Awesome EAS though! So many more are contributing to the "EAS Scenario" that it is becoming a recognized genre in its own right. Part truth, part horror story, and it makes you think.

This is a bit of advice I learned. One of the best things to wear during a tornado is a helmet. If I recall correctly, it's a bicycle helmet that you're supposed to wear. They did a test with two watermelons (meant to resemble human heads), one with and one without the helmet on, and then they dropped a toilet on both watermelons. The watermelon without the helmet was crushed by the toilet, while the one with the helmet on broke the toilet. So have a helmet on standby just in case

In my home state and I live in a town in the far northeast part of the state. My county is Roberts. Love the scenario. Sometimes in my area we get storms that come from the northwest out of North Dakota. Hopefully do another one.

Pretty damn good. Only criticism I have is on the EAS screens. Not because they're unrealistic, but because they lack the minimalism the normal screen has. You're not just looking at white text on a black background, which is horrifying in its simplicity, you've got red text and a couple of seals breaking up the negative space, which kinda harms the effect in my opinion.

Hey! This is pretty amazing but I have the most minor nitpick, at the starting Tornado Watch during the county list, Codington is pronounced wrong. It's Cod-ing-ton and "Cod" as in the Fish or FPS Video Game series. Otherwise this is absolutely fantastic!
