Had to make a few more small changes to the brougham and it required a lift this time. #cadillac #automobile #diy #oldisgold #classic #family #roadto10k

Nice caddy. I had a few of those you can put G body springs in it for a cheap squat and air shocks to lift it up or lower it

I would keep the OG grill and polish it out real good just like your going to do the rest of the trim. I want to find that style Caddy for myself eventually, but I want the d'elegance drop top coupe.

I agree. Keep the factory grill

I checked my wire wheels once a week,

I retighten my wheels after the first couple of trips I make. After that I don’t touch em until I’m removing them again. Idk if it matters but I don’t ride anything larger than a 14 inch wire, not sure if larger sizes are any differant

That grill is as g as can be. I would keep it. That's me. But I think you got good taste bruh so whatever you do, its gonna be fly as hell either way! What parts are you going to replace to keep your alignment straight? I prolly need to do the same to my 89 deville

Pretty much all suspension parts, control arms, idler arm, pitman arm, center link etc.

Did you get longer wheel studs back in the day The wire wheels are used to be coming off people cars while driving it happened to a couple of my family members
@trydecaddyz6831Ай бұрын
Just factory length studs
@anonaymisАй бұрын
You can't use longer wheel studs with knock off style spokes. The wheels won't sit in the teeth of the adapters correctly.

I thought the Lacs had air ride on the back?
@trydecaddyz6831Ай бұрын
They do but discontinued parts so I had to switch over to coils and regular shocks
