50 years on and these fabulous musicians continue to entertain us. Sadly, they cannot live forever, let us enjoy them while they are with us. This is magic.

This is true and I agree. But sometimes we ourselves are not there any more. So let us enjoy the time we all are here.

Remek zene. Kitűnő a gitárjáték, a hangulat. Ezek a kiváló zenészek még szívvel, lélekkel tudtak játszani, akár csak más nagyszerű bandák, előadók annakidején.

Very similar in basic riff to Steve Hacket's Riding the Collossus/Depth Charge. Don't know who was first. Great tune.

Great live version .. Im issed these Night of th eGuitar.... I only have a double live LP from this tour. It's not really the band's line up of the time, only Ted Turner and Andy Powell. I think the bass player is Livingstone Brown and i don't know who the drummer is but obviously not the blonde Steve Upton.

Yes, it's Livingstone Brown. You have good eyesight 😁 Night of the Guitars was a series of concerts (7 dates in November 1988 in the UK) in which nine guitarists played their hits backed by the same rhythm section: Livingstone Brown (and Derek Holt in some cases) on bass, Chris Bucknell on keyboards and Clive Mayuyu (and Stewart Copeland in the final medley) on drums. The guitarists were: Steve Howe (Yes, Asia) Leslie West (Mountain) Robby Krieger (Doors) Randy California (Spirit) Steve Hunter (Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel) Pete Haycock (Climax Blues Band) Alvin Lee (Ten Years After) and Andy Powell and Ted Turner (Wishbone Ash)

@@TheLois99 : thank you ! I wonder if the Night Of The Guitar didn't come to play a concert in Paris too... what I'm sure is that Wishbone Ash played live with Ten Years After after Here To Hear but I didn't go. They were announced like an opeing act and I didn't especially like what i had heard of Ten Years After. I think it was a bit expensive for the time and I decided I wasn't interested enough to buy a ticket... I now regret. I learned later that each band played half of the show, apparently. .
