This was certainly an interesting method of creating a print inspired by Gerhard Richter but, it sure looks fun! I love his work as well! You got some really cool prints! I agree, no additional collage required! Also funny that you mentioned pouring trending on social media now, I was doing it 8 years ago, as well as many others of course. Now they have paint already prepared for pouring, you are right, it takes a lot of space for sure! It is much fun though!🇨🇦

Wonderful! I have done some of this on 12x12" wooden panels, using various size scrapers and a window squeegee. What a great idea to do this on the gellie plate. Thanks for the inspiration!

I suspect the roller technique used previously was more intriguing for the viewer to figure out, involving as it did so many templates and layers. It is clear you wish to advance your repertoire and make new discoveries. Achieving such a lively result must be satisfying. A lady on another site obtained a good lift by drying an impasto landscape thoroughly overnight and lifting with a solid colour in the manner of a ghost print. I was surprised how well the thick paint lifted.

Beautiful work!! Love the color combinations!! I do paint pouring and my work space is my bedroom it can get messy but it’s a lot of fun. I have to put plastic down so it does make clean up easier. You should try it sometime you will enjoy it.

Very nice results! I really dig the orange and yellow gradients you achieved and that terrific orange ball in the lower left corner at 21:50. I’ve been trying Rothko style with a roller but haven’t made anything worthy of framing yet. Wondering if you might “show ’er how it’s done!” And by her I mean me, of course.

The closeups are really beautiful, I can't help but wonder if you increased the size, it could take the viewer more inside the work, to make it like walking through a world of texture and color...

I could do oil resist, but as a separate layer. Doing them together is quite messy and I don't see any advantage.
