In The Valley is a song adapted from the prayer "Valley of Vision" from the Puritans' prayer book of the same name. Sung by Shannon Harris.
The original prayer in The Valley of Vision goes:
Lord, high and holy, meek and lowly,
Thou hast brought me to the valley of vision,
where I live in the depths but see Thee in the heights;
hemmed in by mountains of sin I behold Thy glory.
Let me learn by paradox that the way down is the way up,
that to be low is to be high,
that the broken heart is the healed heart,

Focus more on loving God than hating sin. You cannot hate sin without being in love with God and seeking Christ's presence. Loving God must come first. Focus on the gospel at all times your entire day! It's hard to sin when you're always grateful for the gospel at all times.

James 4:10 - Humble *yourselves* in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humility is not a trait God bestows on preselected individuals. It is an expectation. Don't do it now, you will later because every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is the Lord. Humility is a no brainer when you find out how big and good He really is and how small and broken you really are.
